Dr. Jennifer was born in Lubbock, Texas, but grew up in a little town in Northern California called Paradise. It was early on in high school that she knew that she wanted to become a dentist. Because of her passion for working with kids, she had her sights set on pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Jennifer attended undergraduate school at California State University, Chico, and graduated with honors. From there she attended dental school at Midwestern Universityin Glendale, AZ, and graduated as part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Societywhere she was awarded the Pediatric Dentistry Award. Dr. Jennifer then moved to Columbus, Ohio for her pediatric dental residency at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Childrens Hospital and also obtained her Masters Degree in Dentistry.
Knowing that she wanted to be closer to home, Dr. Jennifer sought a position back on the West Coast. Taking the position at Acorn Dentistry for Kids has allowed her to do so! They are looking forward to everything that Oregon has to offer and she is happy to be a part of the Acorn family.
Dr. Jennifer and her husband Chris welcomed their son, Tyson, in December of 2019 and have three fur babies. Pups Leo and Zeus and cat Oliver make sure theres never a dull moment in the house and of course, are spoiled rotten! Outside the office, Dr. Jennifer and Chris can most likely be found renovating their house into a home. They also love the outdoors, which is another reason why Oregon drew them in! They love to go hiking, camping, and to travel, whether it is near or far!

My children hate going to the doctor and dentist. It is always a struggle but they love going to acorn! When we pulled up today they were actually excited to be there and sad when it was time to leave. We absolutely love it here and don't ever want to go anywhere else. We moved and now have to drive about a half hour to get there and it's worth the drive.

Rachel, Kate, and Dr Tim were wonderful to my daughter this morning. Rachel has the best personality for pediatrics and my kids always look forward to seeing Kate!! Zero tears, zero pain, and she's already asking to go back

It was my son's second time at the dentist and like the first time everything went smoothly.He wasn't quite ready to sit in the chair but the staff was very kind and friendly with him and he loved his second time being at the dentist.

This was my son's first experience getting a tooth pulled and I was a bit nervous. Dr. Jennifer and Brenda were so patient and understanding. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for him. Plus, it was so quick and the entire process was so easy for us. Dr. Jennifer is a magic worker, we are so thankful for her and her team!

We really like acorn dentistry but the amount of paperwork we are required to complete each time is insane! We are happy to review paperwork and make changes however it's seems ridiculous that ALL new paperwork is required each time. Not just a few boxes but PAGES of paperwork. We have complained but nothing changes. Seems unnecessary to have 20 plus pages to complete!?

This was definitely the best dentist office I've ever been to and makes me wish that I was still a child. All of the staff were great in their interactions with my young child. The dentist did an amazing job as well. Everything was streamlined and efficient, plus great quality work. I look forward to continuing to use this clinic for all future dental needs for my children.
