Dr. Jennifer was born in Lubbock, Texas, but grew up in a little town in Northern California called Paradise. It was early on in high school that she knew that she wanted to become a dentist. Because of her passion for working with kids, she had her sights set on pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Jennifer attended undergraduate school at California State University, Chico, and graduated with honors. From there she attended dental school at Midwestern Universityin Glendale, AZ, and graduated as part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Societywhere she was awarded the Pediatric Dentistry Award. Dr. Jennifer then moved to Columbus, Ohio for her pediatric dental residency at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Childrens Hospital and also obtained her Masters Degree in Dentistry.
Knowing that she wanted to be closer to home, Dr. Jennifer sought a position back on the West Coast. Taking the position at Acorn Dentistry for Kids has allowed her to do so! They are looking forward to everything that Oregon has to offer and she is happy to be a part of the Acorn family.
Dr. Jennifer and her husband Chris welcomed their son, Tyson, in December of 2019 and have three fur babies. Pups Leo and Zeus and cat Oliver make sure theres never a dull moment in the house and of course, are spoiled rotten! Outside the office, Dr. Jennifer and Chris can most likely be found renovating their house into a home. They also love the outdoors, which is another reason why Oregon drew them in! They love to go hiking, camping, and to travel, whether it is near or far!

My daughter has some serious anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Acorn Dentistry takes their time with my daughter and explains things to her and answer her questions. Even know my daughter fights them they are able to get the things done that are needed. Highly recommend the Keizer location. Liz V. Is amazing! We have had her each time and my daughter feels at ease with her.

Very friendly and inviting. My son had so much fun in the waiting room, so many cool things to keep the little ones entertained. I love all the incentives that they have for the kids, definitely outweighed the anxiety that my son experienced during the exam, and will keep us looking forward to the next visit. Overall it was a great experience for us. Update: 10/2022 3 yrs later and my son still loves going to the dentist. The dental staff does so well easing any anxiety and making us comfortable. He is so excited at the fact that his dental clinic is on so many billboards in town and looks forward to each visit.

Been here several times, they are very friendly and really focused on the kids. They have tablets in the waiting area for them and some toys too. Kids get to watch movies while they get work done too.

I used to love this dentist office. But apparently if you book an appointment at lunch time you get horrible service. They scheduled us for 12 the dental assistant was rude when talking to my 10 yr old about her dental hygiene. Followed by the female dentist who was removing spacers from her mouth did not tell her what she was doing only told me, did not explain that she would feel pressure or anything and my daughter panicked in pain when she started pulling followed by the dentist saying, "It doesn't even hurt." So no dont take your child here, mine left in full on tears and she has always loved the dentist.
