Dr. Jennifer was born in Lubbock, Texas, but grew up in a little town in Northern California called Paradise. It was early on in high school that she knew that she wanted to become a dentist. Because of her passion for working with kids, she had her sights set on pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Jennifer attended undergraduate school at California State University, Chico, and graduated with honors. From there she attended dental school at Midwestern Universityin Glendale, AZ, and graduated as part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Societywhere she was awarded the Pediatric Dentistry Award. Dr. Jennifer then moved to Columbus, Ohio for her pediatric dental residency at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Childrens Hospital and also obtained her Masters Degree in Dentistry.
Knowing that she wanted to be closer to home, Dr. Jennifer sought a position back on the West Coast. Taking the position at Acorn Dentistry for Kids has allowed her to do so! They are looking forward to everything that Oregon has to offer and she is happy to be a part of the Acorn family.
Dr. Jennifer and her husband Chris welcomed their son, Tyson, in December of 2019 and have three fur babies. Pups Leo and Zeus and cat Oliver make sure theres never a dull moment in the house and of course, are spoiled rotten! Outside the office, Dr. Jennifer and Chris can most likely be found renovating their house into a home. They also love the outdoors, which is another reason why Oregon drew them in! They love to go hiking, camping, and to travel, whether it is near or far!

Super child friendly safe environment, such a great dentistry for kids of all ages. Parents do not stress because they are super understanding of kids and their emotions and how to handle everything in such a wonderful manner. All kiddos are different in their own way and trust me these pediatric dentist do a great job.

This Hillsboro office is so great with my son who has an abundance of anxiety around being at the dentist. Truly so great with the kids. Talking to them along the way, letting them touch, feel and understand the tools that are being used. I'm so grateful my son is well taken care of here.

Our visit was great! My daughter has been to the dentist since she was 6 months and now she's 6 years old, but she had some anxiety and hesitation this visit. Our hygienist was excellent, I didn't get his name, and made her comfortable and was even able to get her X-rays and let her know he was going to avoid her super wiggly tooth with everything. She left smiling. I recommend acorn to everyone for a pediatric dentist.

All of the staff here were wonderful. Very friendly, helpful, understanding and great with my 8 year old who was less than happy about needing some work done. Despite the tears she said she enjoyed the visit after all was said and done. Thank you for letting us go at our own pace and for all your kindness

We love Acorn Dentistry for Kids! My daughter has never been too shy or scared since she started coming here, but recently has had some issues with separation anxiety. There was no pressure from any staff for her to do anything she didn't want! After she had a chance to acclimate to the dentist environment again and with the amazing staff, she let them do her x-rays! I recommend Acorn any time I can! She also recently had to get some work done and they were so amazing! Explained everything to her even though she is 4, they used words that she knew and were always asking her if she was OK. Way different than my experiences at the dentist as a child!

Our favorite pediatric dentist! Although we live in Happy Valley and there is more dentist offices here then you can count, we choice top care with Acorn in Hillsboro. Our wait times are never long the front desk is always A+ on customer service. And the team actually looks like they love what they do so I know their bosses also treat them well which is important to me! The Doctor always give me the time I need for any questions so I have never left unhappy or felt rushed.

My son has autism this was his first time having gas instead of being put to sleep. They were amazing! So companionate, caring, understanding, I couldn't had asked for a better experience! I wish they went to 18! I wish there was adult dentist like this

I take all of my 4 kids here 2 have special needs and they are always so kind and professional. The kids feel at ease here and I'm so happy we found them. The dentist is the best! All the staff are great too!
