Dr. Jennifer was born in Lubbock, Texas, but grew up in a little town in Northern California called Paradise. It was early on in high school that she knew that she wanted to become a dentist. Because of her passion for working with kids, she had her sights set on pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Jennifer attended undergraduate school at California State University, Chico, and graduated with honors. From there she attended dental school at Midwestern Universityin Glendale, AZ, and graduated as part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Societywhere she was awarded the Pediatric Dentistry Award. Dr. Jennifer then moved to Columbus, Ohio for her pediatric dental residency at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Childrens Hospital and also obtained her Masters Degree in Dentistry.
Knowing that she wanted to be closer to home, Dr. Jennifer sought a position back on the West Coast. Taking the position at Acorn Dentistry for Kids has allowed her to do so! They are looking forward to everything that Oregon has to offer and she is happy to be a part of the Acorn family.
Dr. Jennifer and her husband Chris welcomed their son, Tyson, in December of 2019 and have three fur babies. Pups Leo and Zeus and cat Oliver make sure theres never a dull moment in the house and of course, are spoiled rotten! Outside the office, Dr. Jennifer and Chris can most likely be found renovating their house into a home. They also love the outdoors, which is another reason why Oregon drew them in! They love to go hiking, camping, and to travel, whether it is near or far!

My kids did great working with the staff at Acorn. It is very welcoming for everyone and operates efficiently and allows the children to engage as little or as much as they want with the dental process.

This place was so great with my kids. They were patient with my 3 year old. Did awesome with my son who has selective mutism. And they got all 4 of kids done within 2 hours. I would recommend this place :)

The front office staff, the technician, and the dentist treated my daughter so respectfully. They were informative and thorough. It was such a great experience that on the car ride home my daughter was asking to go back.

Such a wonderful experience! The Acorn Dentistry team exceeded my expectations as a mom. They made my toddler feel completely at ease and the dental assistant, Avery was so good with him! There were smiles all around. So happy with them!

I can't say enough good things about this place.. they are so great. My 2 sons had their second appointment there today, and all of Acorn Dentistry again exceeded my expectations. My younger son is only 2, but does very well in these types of situations. I really appreciated that they went ahead and did a more "big kid" type cleaning on him since he handled everything well. Everyone was great with him and he seemed to be enjoying himself! My sweet 7 year old son has a long history of medical and dental trauma and gets terrible anxiety at the dentist and the doctor. Today he was often uncooperative and cried nearly the whole time, overcome with anxiety about getting fluoride put on. His hygienist and the dentist were SO incredibly patient and kind to him. He's been through 4 different dentist's offices over the years and I can tell you, I can't say the same for every place. We're super happy to have Acorn as our children's dentist!
