I used to love going to the dentist till I saw a hygienist on a military base for nine years. Acorn dental takes the necessary steps to make me feel comfortable and always takes care if I mention sensitivity. Glad to travel 30 minutes to a business that takes my needs into consideration. I'll keep coming back.

My sons and I came to Acorn dental fall of 2021. I will say that our experience with the dentist was fine. My kids had no complaints and I felt like Dr. Keyes is both professional and very kind. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this clinic. I chose this clinic because it was on the list of in network providers for my insurance. I even called my insurance to make sure I would be able to go to this clinic and be covered. I called Acorn dental and they wanted to see my insurance card, which i thought was strange but I went in and showed them my card. They took copies and said they would let me know. Brandi, from the clinic's billing dept., couldn't get through to my insurance so I said, ok I'll call again to make sure. And once again I was told yes acorn dental is in network. For some reason after my sons' appointments Brandi told me there was a problem and she couldn't submit the claims. My insurance had to call Brandi and walk her through on how to submit the claims. I go to my appointment and I'm told everything is fine, they have it figured out. But then several weeks later I get a call from Brandi saying she was sending me a bill because she couldn't figure out how to submit the claims. My insurance had to call again and walk Brandi through the steps on how to submit the claims. I saw that my claim went through but not for my boys. I still received a bill for all three of us from Acorn Dental. Then a day later a bill from acorn dental for my copay and a note saying only mine went through. So here I am having to submit the claims for my boys myself because Brandi was not able or just not willing to try. Even Brandi tried to put the blame on me and my insurance saying that they've never had a problem like this and it's only me. That my insurance is going through some clearing house situation which I have no idea where she got that idea from. What a headache. What is the point of paying someone to do this job if ultimately your patients have to submit their own claims. We've moved around a lot bc we are a military family and never had problems with any other clinic. What a shame.

This office was amazing. I called for a semi-emergency and they were not only considerate and understanding, but also got me in at their earliest available appointment. I received a call back maybe 5 minutes later when a same day appointment became available and took it. This was for my young child and they were so kind and patient with her being extremely nervous. They went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and reassured me as the parent that they understood. I will highly recommend this office, especially to other parents and we've already booked our routine appointments with them for the future.

Dr Joseph Keyes is a wonderful dentist. When I first came here I have to admit I was very nervous. But the front staff were so friendly and the assistant who helped me was so kind. The doctor has a very calming presence which helped me and when I got numb it didn't hurt at all. Thank you to everyone here!

I asked to be seen for an emergency because my retainer popped (those who wears them would understand how uncomfortable it is) and the receptionist named Becca said the soonest she could book me is "8 days from today". I asked if there's an emergency situation where I wouldn't have to wait she keeps telling that his schedule is full and I get that but this is not a regular procedure not will take that long. Horrible and rude. Shopping for a new dentist!

Mommy approved! You're done looking for a dentist, this is your guy. Not only is he a great dentist but he can handle whatever you throw at him! Ever breastfeed while getting a cavity filled? Well I have and they did a great job making sure both of us were comfortable <3 this wasn't my first visit either.. story time :) husband took me on a drive on a beautiful day, something we hadn't done in some time. I was a week away from giving birth and I was hangry. He stopped under an apple tree climbed ontop of the car and "stole" me an apple. Little did I know that fckin apple would be as hard as a brick and break out my front tooth.. they were able to get me in right away to deal with the broken tooth so I didn't give birth looking like a hillbilly. :D 10/10 would reccomend, and that's coming from someone who is terrified of going to the dentist!

Best dentist I've been to. They're fast, efficient, and friendly. I don't dread going. Actually, it's quite a relaxing experience. Most importantly, I feel like they are honest and integral in their work. Would recommend a hundred times over.

I have had a good experience with this office up until my last visit unfortunately. I needed to get a tooth extracted. I just switched insurances so before scheduling my appointment I made sure this office took my insurance, and that the procedure was covered. Once I found out it was, I scheduled my appointment. I walked in for my appointment and checked in, handed them my new insurance card and waited. Everything seemed to go well until I was done. The lady behind the desk informed me that my insurance didn't cover the procedure, of course they waited until AFTER the procedure to inform me of this. I had the option to either pay $200 up front, of my deductible, $50. I chose to pay my deductible until I was able to sort out my insurance. I called my insurance once I got home and they informed me the dentist office never called for a claim, and that the procedure, was indeed covered. I called the dentist office back to see what my bill would be since "my insurance didn't cover the procedure" and they informed me it would be $186. Which is strange that they wanted me to pay MORE ($200) after the procedure was done. I asked who they contacted as far as my insurance and they said a COMPLETELY different insurance company. I informed them that was not my insurance and let them know who was. Brandi, the lady in charge of insurance tried to argue with me that they were correct, they contacted my insurance and that my procedure wasn't covered. Long story short, my insurance company called their office. Brandi gave me a call back to let me know they owe me a refund! Once I got to the office I asked why this happened and Brandi insisted I handed her the wrong insurance card. (Brandi was not even there the day of my procedure.) I let her know, no I indeed handed them the correct insurance card as I only have one. She simply said "have a good day". No apologies or anything. They are still convinced that I handed them the wrong insurance card, when I only have one.
