The atmosphere and the desk personnel were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The assistants and the doctor were very informative(it all made sense), and I got a fair price for the work I need done. The cost was not outrageous as Ive gotten from other Dentists. Dr. Rodney Ackley was born in Kingsport, Tennessee and raised on Floridas east coast. Dr. Ackley is a graduate of the University of Florida School of Dental Medicine. He and his wife Eva reside in New Port Richey. They have three children; Ricky, Amy and Andrea.
Dr. Ackley is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He also serves as the chairperson of the Peer Review Committee for West Coast Dental in Hernando County. In addition, Dr. Ackley has been inducted into the International College of Dentists.
Dr. Ackley believes in the importance of giving back to the community and volunteers at the Crescent Community Clinic in Sapring Hill. The clinic provides dental treatments to the homeless and underserved.
Dr. Eva Ackley was born in Monterey, California and grew up as a military brat. She is a graduate of the University of Florida School of Dental Medicine. After graduation from dental school, Dr. Eva Ackley and her husband Dr. Rodney Ackley opened their practice, the Ackley Dental Group.
Dr. Ackley serves as an officer on the American Association of Dental Boards and is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, and Hernando County Dental Association. She has also served nine years on the Florida Board of Dentistry and served as chairman for two of those years. Dr. Ackley is an inductee of both the American and International College of Dentists.
Dr. Scheuermann was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia and graduated from the Belgrade School of Dental Medicine. She lives in Tampa with her husband Greg and they have five children; Kevin, Nicholas, Ellie, Matthew, and Elara.
Dr. Scheuermanns professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and West Coast Dental Association. She has also been voted one of the Top Dentists in Tampa Bay area by Tampa Bay Magazine.

Staff was so nice and very helpful. Dr Amy Ackley was amazing. Would recommend Ackley Dental to anyone. Who really likes going to the dentist; let's be real, no one. The Ackley Dental Group has changed my mind.

I had a great experience for my first visit to this facility. My hygienist Monica was great in talking me through X-rays & cleaning since covid 19 I had not seen a dentist for approximately 2 years. So meeting Dr Kelly & Monica made the visit to a new dentist after my move last year was a very pleasant experience. I thank you for your pleasant & friendly atmosphere.

My technician was so gentle, she really made my experience pleasant! Usually a cleaning feels invasive and leaves you feeling sore but she was really fastidious to the details and made no mistakes. I love the staff at Ackley!

Second visit here. Saw Tia, hygienist, she was remarkable. Friendly, engaging, but mostly, excellent at her job. I've worked in dental field over 40 years, and this is by far the best office I've been in. From front desk, to every other member of the office. Great job, keep it going Ackley group.
