Having practiced in Bowling Green, Kentucky and at several offices in Louisville, Dr. Ackerman made the decision to purchase the practice from Dr. Willis. So, nearly a decade ago, Ackerman Family Dental was founded with one goal: to treat every patient as if they were family.
Having experienced dental offices that treat patients as a number, Dr. Ackerman wanted something different. She and her team make it a point to take time with patients and develop treatment plans that best meet the need of the patient.
Mini dental implants offer patients with missing teeth a cost-effective option to be able to smile again. Its ideal for denture wearers who are tired of messing with glues or ill-fitting dentures and for patients who have been told they dont have enough bone for traditional implants.
Jackies focus is treating her patients like family and getting to know their preferences,likes and dislikes, and working with them to achieve optimal oral health. She married her high school sweetheart, Jamie, and they have two girls, Madison and MacKenzie. Jackie likes to spend her spare time with family and friends, reading, or watching her girls play volleyball.

Dr. Ackerman and her staff are wonderful. I have been going there since they opened 2 years ago. I would highly recommend Dr. Ackerman and her employees to take care of any dental care that you may need.

Dr. Ackerman is the best dentist I have ever been to. She is an excellent clinician, she is kind, she is painfree and she is basically a wonderful person. You'll go to her as your dentist but you'll leave feeling you've made a friend. Changing to her was one of the best decisions I've made. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.
