January 12, 2018 (Schaumburg, IL) Acierno Dental was included in 2018 Chicago magazines January Top Doctor issue. Out of the 6,500 dentists represented by the Illinois Dental Society, Acierno Dental was featured along with 190 Chicagoland dentists in the Dental Profiles section.

Chicago magazine commissioned an independent survey by topDentists, an organization started with the intent to identify tdentists and specialists in the country and is the only list of its kind, chosen by the dental profession themselves. They sent out over 1,600 surveys to dentists in the greater Chicago area and asked them to nominate outstanding professionals in their field and peers that they would trust to treat their own family and friends.

To be nominated by my peers is truly humbling and I want to thank our entire Acierno Dental team who made this possible by consistently making decisions for our patients based on altruism, teamwork, and excellence.

With over twenty years of experience in the dental field, Dr. DiFranco provides exceptional care for her patients. Dr. DiFranco graduated from the highly regarded University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1994. Prior to obtaining her dental degree, she was a registered Dental Hygienist for many years practicing in a wide variety of dental offices specializing in implants and periodontics. I feel very fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with various talented dentists as a hygienist while attending dental school. The knowledge and experience gained in these private practices was a rare opportunity to both learn and observe from many leaders in dentistry.

Dr. DiFranco continues to seek out educational opportunities to provide the highest standard of care for her patients. She has studied and completed coursework at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. In addition, Dr. DiFranco utilizes other educational opportunities by regularly attending dental conferences and is a member of several dental study clubs and associations.

Dr. Kuloba was born in Kakamega, Kenya and currently resides in Chicago, IL. Bruno was born to Bernard and Pamela Kuloba and grew up with one older sister and two younger brothers. At the age of 7, the family moved to the United States; first living in Chattanooga, Tennessee and then Pensacola, Florida. He became interested in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at the age of 9, and worked to bring this dream into a reality. He attended undergraduate at the University of West Florida, receiving his B.S. in Biology, and attended dental school and oral surgery residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN.

During his time at Meharry, Bruno excelled in academics being inducted into Omicron Kappa Epsilon dental society. Bruno was able to become active and held leadership roles in local and regional organizations. During this time, he and other students organized and developed the dental component of the 12 South student-run dental clinic (now called The Salt Wagon Clinic). He became an active member of the Jamaica Awareness Association of Californias annual dental mission trip and he has been able to participate in multiple community service events. He has also participated in Smile Bangladesh, a biannual mission trip to help with Craniofacial deformities in Bangladesh.

Upon graduating from dental school he was accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Meharry Medical College, and he enlisted in the United States Navy as an officer. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in 2019, and is currently active duty military personnel at Great Lakes Naval Base in North Chicago, IL. Bruno cherishes the skills, experiences and friendships gained through his different experiences. He currently plans to continue to serve his community in local and international outreaches. He is currently working with his familys non-profit organization, The Kuloba Foundation, to help underserved communities. In his free time, Bruno enjoys visiting different countries and cultures, playing sports, salt water aquariums, and learning new skills and hobbies.

I am originally from Holland, Michigan. Following high school, I decided to continue my academic career at Adrian College in southeast Michigan. I majored in Biology and earned my bachelors degree while also playing NCAA Division III lacrosse for Adrian.

After graduating from Adrian College, I attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL where I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree. During my time at Midwestern, I had the opportunity to serve on the board of multiple student organizations while also gaining invaluable clinical experience that has prepared me for providing the utmost level of dentistry to my patients.

My passion for dentistry originally stemmed from a love of the sciences, healthcare, working with my hands, and most importantly, the opportunity to create and build lifelong relationships with patients while working together to improve oral health. I am now a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. I enjoy attending meetings and lectures that provide me with the most up-to-date standards, procedures, and technologies in order to stay current with the ever-changing field of dentistry.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Summer, and our English Bulldog, Wilbur. We enjoy camping, traveling, hiking, boating, biking and pretty much anything outdoors. I also love playing many sports and am always eager for a new challenge. Summer has even attempted to introduce me to and improve my ice hockey skills with her 20+ years of playing experience.

I grew up in the lovely state of Iowa. My college career started at the University of Iowa, before transferring and completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. It was here that I fell in love with the medical field. My goal was to find a career that allowed me to continue to gain the latest knowledge and practical insights, while giving back to my community, and build strong lasting relationships with my patients. Dentistry was without a doubt the perfect calling for me and I feel honored to be part of such a strong and rewarding profession.

I earned my Doctorate of Dental Science Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicagos College of Dentistry in 2012. Throughout my studies I completed clinical rotations concentrating on pediatrics at The Erie Family Center in Chicago. At the same time, while with Advocate Illinois Masonics mobile dental van program, I was able to expand my clinical expertise and provide care to underserved communities throughout the city. Participating in these programs strengthened my desire to help people, whether by relieving them of pain, teaching healthy oral habits, or just giving them the confidence to love their smile.

I am a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and American Dental Association. I am Invisalign Certified and I am always eager to attend continuing education courses to broaden my knowledge and expand my dental services.

During my time outside the office, I cherish spending time with my husband and four young children. As a family we stay very busy with soccer, dance, and gymnastics. In the summer, swimming and spending time on the lake is where youll find us soaking up the sun. I love to cook and bake and my four little chefs are quite the helpers!

Dr. Frank Sparacino is a Chicago native and has been providing optimal periodontal care to patients in the Charleston area since 2004. Upon earning his undergraduate dental degree at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Dr. Sparacino studied Periodontics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA), and the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Sparacino and his wife, Gretchen, are the proud parents of a daughter, Tessa, and two sons, Joey and Leo. They share their home with their dog, two cats, and 10-12 chickens. Besides treating his patients and spending time with his family, Dr. Sparacino enjoys camping and boating.
