Being a part of peoples overall health care is an honor for Dr. Andrew Achord. Through honest communication with his patients, and a commitment to provide quality, gentle dental care, Dr. Achord is able to work with his patients to achieve a lifetime of good health in a way that meets their individual needs.

Dr. Achord feels it is his responsibility to improve his clinical skills and knowledge base in order to provide the best care possible. He participates in continuing education programs both locally and nationally, and is always interested in learning new and modern techniques and methods to bring to his patients and clinical practice. He does all this for his patients, as well as his own personal growth.

Born in Atlanta, Dr. Achord was raised in Jackson, MS and has lived in the Brandon Reservoir area for more than 30 years.He has4 children. His daughter Heather is married to Ben Bryan and they have two childrenCaroline and Josh. His daughter Allie graduated fromUMMC School of Nursing, his son Sam joined the armyand his youngest son Benattends Northwest Rankin. When he has free time, Dr. Achord enjoys playing golf and guitar, spending time outside, and watching college football.

Dr. Achord also sponsors several community sports teams, is a member of the Flowood Chamber of Commerce, and participates in the annual Pounding the Pavement for a Cure in memory of his dear friend and colleague, Doug Buchanan.

I began working as a dental assistant in 2003, and went back to the University of Mississippi Medical Center to become a dental hygienist. I graduated in 2012. Working side by side with Dr. Achord, Ihelp patients achieve a healthy smile by providing regular checkup visits, decay-detecting X-rays, and gum disease evaluations. I love getting to know my patients and helping them have a healthy smile. I enjoy coming to work every day!

I married my husband Lee in September 2012. We enjoy working out and staying healthy. We welcomed our first child, Charlotte, March of 2018. Ourtwo cats, Milan and Felix, have been very interested in the tiny human.

I am the mother of three children. Noah received a purple heart in Afghanistan with the U.S. Army in 2012 and resides in Oxford with his wife Megan.They just welcomed their first child March of 2018. His name is Thomas and I intend on spoiling him rotten.Lindsey works in marketing for Liquid Creative, and Max is currently working in medical sales.
