Dr. Donna Chang, DDS, MS of Ace Orthodontics, located in Falls Church, Virginia, is an orthodontist serving patients in Falls Church. Dr. Donna Chang grew up in Northern Virginia. A valedictorian from James Madison High School, Dr. Chang went on to graduate summa cum laude from James Madison University with a B.S. in biology and a minor in mathematics. In dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Chang discovered her interest in orthodontics. Upon graduating at the top of her dental class, she went on to complete an orthodontic fellowship at theUniversity of Florida and an orthodontic residency at Marquette University.
Following two years of residency in Wisconsin, Dr. Chang returned to her hometown of Vienna to practice orthodontics. When not practicing orthodontics, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Chang also loves playing Chinese chess and other board games, badminton, and racquetball.

Dr. Chang is a fantastic orthodontist. She first fixed my daughter's teeth with Invisalign during her senior year of high school, and it was a great experience as this treatment did not impact her senior portrait! She was great with her, always explained what she was doing while examining her and the end result was beautiful. Then it was my turn. I had issues with a bite and a growing gap between 2 teeth and luckily, Invisalign was also the right treatment for me. My experience with Dr. Chang was also wonderful and since the entire course of treatment was done during the worst of covid, by the time things were getting better, I also completed my treatment. She is very knowledgeable and responds to my texts when I have questions or concerns. The office sends reminders for appointments and there's never a long wait. All in all a superb practice. We can't recommend Dr. Chang enough.

Dr. Chang is excellent and talented at her work and very kind and warming. She helped me straighten my teeth with braces within two years I believe and I'm loving the results and very happy with the outcome. The office is always clean and tidy and very cautious with Covid going on. She always make sure that I am comfortable and ask me if anything is bothering me, if I have questions, concerns that I had or any request and really made me understand all the steps and care for braces/retainers. You won't be disappointed, 10 out of 10 I definitely recommend! the best Orthodontist ever. Thank you Dr. Chang

So happy with my Invisalign results! Dr. Chang was very thorough and happy to answer my questions. I felt reassured knowing that Dr. Chang, an experienced orthodontist, was regularly monitoring my progress. Also, the office was very accommodating with scheduling.

Dr.Chang is such an amazing and talented doctor she really helped my teeth and underbite improve really fast in a year rather than two. The office is really clean and tidy and she's really welcoming and always asks me if anything is bothering me or if I have any questions or requests. She explains everything really well which makes me feel so comfortable because I get to know what's going on and there was a few times my brackets broke and my wires were out of place and she was really patient and understanding and told me how to prevent it from happening again and she's overall really sweet and I loved my time and experience with Ace Orthodontists and i really recommend it

I came in for a complimentary consultation, because my care team suggested I needed to have orthodontic treatment for the second time. When I called the office for information, the reception was polite. Upon arrival, I was promptly welcomed in by Dr. Chang. The office is very immaculate, with nice large windows which is always a plus. Plus parking is free, and I found a spot during a weekday afternoon. I was offered hand sanitizer, which I use frequently, especially, during the ongoing pandemic. I really appreciated the attention to sanitation and cleanliness. Even in the midst of less attention and precautions businesses and medical offices are taking during this pandemic, Ace Orthodontics office has a lot of safeguards in place. Dr. Chang thoroughly answered all of my concerns and inquires with honesty, patience and integrity. Dr. Chang gave me outstanding advice for my specific situation, and informed me that ortho treatment is not necessary, and to invest in a real solid night guard at my dentists, to prevent malocclusion and grinding damage. She was very responsive to my emails, as well. Even though I will not be needing ortho treatment, Dr. Chang kindly took the time to look at some xrays I forwarded the other week. I highly recommend Ace Orthodontics.

Great experience getting Invisalign (as an adult who never had any orthodontic treatment, ever) here. Reasonable prices and payment plans, very clear communication regarding treatment progress and what to expect, and very responsive to appointment requests. I would recommend this practice to everyone, including adults nervous about getting orthodontic treatment!
