Got my wisdom teeth pulled on 4/1/2022 and I was told that I had to pay for anesthesia upfront and I would be paid back if my insurance deemed it medically necessary. Sure enough my insurance covered the anesthesia and it is now 10/17/2022, over 6 months after the procedure, and still no refund. I have called the office every month asking for an update. First they told me an accountant comes in twice a month to write checks for refunds and told me I'd get my refund through the mail. They said this for several months, and I kept being patient and kept following up. Now I'm being told I am on a "wait list" to receive a refund. Absolutely unacceptable, please do not come here unless you want to give this company an interest free loan that you may never get back. I will be reaching out to Plainfield PD for next steps on this issue, I will update. Update 10/30/22 I reached out to the Plainfield Police Department on 10/19/2022 and they directed me to the state attorney. I made an inquiry that day, have have since let them know my issue has been solved because on Saturday 10/21/22 I received my full amount owed to me in the mail. I had a great experience here but this whole refund debacle has ruined it for me. Just be mindful if you're owed a refund, you may never received it unless you aggressively follow up.

Excellent service! I couldn't be happier. It's not the cheapest In the area but there is a reason why they are not! Got all my wisdom teeth removed. Little to no bruising.

The office here is not doing so good. They close before their website states. Already left a review about the office not responding back to my concerns about overpaying for the service. We called last Friday and left a message. I left a poor review on Google and shortly after they call back. The office did state that a refund is owed to me. So they already knew I was owed a refund and didn't respond until I put a bad review on here. They were going to send us a check but we asked them we want the refund on our credit card that we paid with. They said you would have to come into the office with the credit card to get the refund but they would call us back when the refund is ready. We still haven't received a callback yet. We called today at 2:30 and got the answering service stating it's closed but the website show they close at 3pm. Just very poor service with the office. So it's been 7 months since I had my wisdom teeth pulled. No complaints on the procedure. Still an issue with the office. I over paid according to by EOB. They claimed they didn't run everything properly with the insurance. So they had to submit multiple attempts to by insurance with the correct billing. They said back in November that they will call me back once my insurance approves everything. My insurance has approved everything and I still over paid and yet to here back from the office. I may have to call again and if I don't get anywhere then BBB is next. Their first response to this review 7 months ago was it takes 60 to 90 days to get everything from the insurance companies. I mean it's been 7 months and they also say they do their best to respond back to clients the next business day. This is unacceptable.

Do not bother or waste your time going here.... My husband was there 9/16 for a consultation. Before his spot they told me we had to path $150 so he did. They said they would call us once they got the pre authorization from Cigna. After a month I called they stated they had not heard anything. I waited another 2 weeks called they still didn't hear anything so I called Cigna. Cigna said they sent the prescription authorization to the office 10/2. On top of it Cigna told me that we only had to pay them $50 because the X-ray was covered. I have called and left a message 5 times regarding our refund and every time they give me any excuse (they need to talk to the office manager, the office manager is in the hospital, we are doing surgeries today but I will have someone call you back OR you leave a message with the answering service during operating hours abs you never hear back from them. Can you imagine if you had a procedure there and needed urgent care?!?! Would they call you back in time or even call you at all!?!? It is now the end of November and there has been no resolution nor have I received my money from them so I have already contacted and started a claim with the BBB AND the attorney general office .... maybe they will call them back!

Be Careful with this Place! My husband needed oral surgery, So we went there for a consultation. They gave us a price of $7000 !!! With a dental plan!!! $12,000 without it! Saying he needed a breathing tube down his throat!!! Red flag big time! Talked to 2 other dentists, that said they have not heard of doing this unless, there is a very serious car accident! He sd 2 ridges that needed to be shaved down. We got all this dental work done for $3,200. It doesn't make sense to do Life support for a dental procedure, which no Other dentist would recommend!!! $$??!?!!! Sounds Like about money, Not ppl....

Don't bother if you value your time or teeth. These people couldn't schedule their way out of a paper bag.

We walked out before seeing the Doctor. Front office was more concerned about getting paid up front. First they wanted our credit card number and authorization to charge anything to payoff balance. Then they wanted money before we saw the doctor. Something did not seem appropriate. Was able to see another TMJ specialist at a lower price and much more user friendly front office.

The people there are very knowledgeable and caring. I had two wisdom teeth removed along with a couple other teeth at the same time . The experience, for being a dentist, was the best I've had. We had an appointment set and I called them because I was having complications and they got me in earlier. After the surgery at about 6:30 at night I got a phone call from the oral surgeon. I had a lot of work done at one time and he just wanted to check up on me. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I have nothing but glowing things to say about my experience. The staff was incredible and always made sure to assist me in every way possible. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Frer!!! The kindest man ever!!! Calmed me down before my surgery and even held my hand when the IV went in. He personally called me to see how I was doing as well. My surgery went superb and my recovery was faster than anyone else's I know. I truly cannot recommend this place more. Quality care, an incredible surgeon, and the team explained everything clearly and made sure I understood what I was paying and what the insurance was covering. Truly phenomenal experience here, thank you thank you thank you !!!!!!!!!

Tried to force a sedation on me for the extraction of one wisdom tooth. My insurance did not cover as I knew it would not and they wanted to charge me $700+ for a sedation I did not want and the single tooth extraction. I asked for antibiotics because I was in pain (not pain meds) and they refused to write me a prescription after I paid $75 for a consultation all because I was refusing the sedation. I went somewhere else they extracted the tooth in less than 10 minutes with no pain and no problems for $73.60 10% of what this office wanted to force on me for a sedation I knew I did not need. I was in dentistry for 14 years and if you see a patient and the pay you for an examination it is unheard of and unethical to let them leave ur office in pain especially when all I simply wanted was an antibiotic I was not asking for any narcotics.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone was super friendly, thoroughly explained every aspect, and always made sure I was comfortable. Some people are complaining about insurance prices they are quoted, but at the ripe age of 24 I'm happy to say that the word 'estimate' was already in my vocabulary (though they very thoroughly went through it to make sure I understood) and knew I wouldnt be paying exactly what I was quoted. I actually ended up paying less than my quote. They took all 4 of my wisdom teeth and the post OP care was phenomenal. I had to come back twice to address a lost clot and I never spent more than 20 minutes in the office. My papers and chart were always ready to go, the staff was so incredibly friendly, and Dr.Frer was the best surgeon I could have hoped for. Overall, I had the smoothest experience I've ever had with a doctor's office. If I could give more than five stars I would.

Sorry to say very disappointed with our visit. My husband needed a sinus augmentation procedure performed, he needed a second opinion for this procedure from an oral sx. Hence after careful research and reading out from their website found that Dr. Frer does perform this procedure so my husband scheduled an appt to see him. Again to be certain prior to appt we had made sure with staff that Dr. Frer does perform this procedure if likely to be conducted after consultation. Was informed yes. My husband's visit with Dr. Frer went very bizarre, Dr. Frer does the consultation with my husband and states he used to perform this procedure previously but with age he has to let go performing some procedures. So now what do we do ? Why has the staff not being educated on this procedure will no longer be conducted any more by doctor, why has their website not being updated. If we knew this we would not have made an appointment. We specifically mentioned this visit was a second opinion for Sinus Augmentation procedure. Being assured the doctor performs this procedure we visited the doctor. And to top this off doctor charges 2nd level consult code which our insurance will cover it only based on deductible. As a courtesy I even asked the staff if they can ask doctor to not charge for this visit since he does not perform this procedure or if they can re-bill the service with 1st level code, the staff has never got back to us with a reply from doctor. We feel cheated on our visit.
