Over 600 Rx Medications list dry mouth as a side effect. Dry mouth also known as Xerostomia affects 25% of the population. Saliva is your mouths primary defense against bacteria and decay as it has a high concentration of salivary phosphates and calcium ions that protects your teeth. Without the anti-cariogenic actions of saliva, tooth decay may progress much aggressively. Medications are the cause of more than 90 % of Xerostomia cases.
At Accurate Family Dental we offer In-office dental treatment for dry mouth and its related problems including topical fluoride treatments, prescription home fluoride, antibacterial/antifungal mouthwashes including dry mouth sprays. For patients suffering from dry mouth, we also recommend diagnostic x-rays to monitor dental decay as lack of adequate salivary flow is conducive to tooth decay and gum disease. Please consult your physician to evaluate your medications that may be contributing to reduction in salivary flow.

Dr.Palmer is amazing! I was in need of extensive dental work and I was terrified! He was so patient and kind. The entire staff is awesome. I highly recommend Accurate family dental to anyone especially if you have a fear of the dentist they do a great job and make you feel so comfortable. By far my best dental experience.

Dr. Parmar is a very experienced dentist I've ever seen. He works with his patients who have gagging problem like me . I remember once I asked him, " why don't you put a Tv in your rooms?" He told me that he wants to talk to his patients instead of make them to watch tv. Also, all staff are really respectful, kind, and sensitive on appointment. For instance, if they give you an appointment at 4, they exactly will start at 4. Thanks God for having such a dentist in our town.

As a RN who has had multiple dental procedures and not being from CA, I was skeptical--to say the least. All the staff in the office were professional and very accommodating. I cannot say enough about Dr. Parmar. In fact, I am a travel nurse, and my dental work is not yet complete. But wherever I go next, I will fly back to Turlock for Dr. Parmar to finish my dental work. He had done an excellent job and I am very comfortable and confident with his care.

The staff here have always been very friendly and professional! I have had bad experiences with dentists before, but everyone here is very kind and is understanding. They have never made me feel terrible or tried to demean me, which was my experience at a previous dentist. They talk with you about your oral health and try to work with you and your insurance so that your teeth and gums are healthy. Great people, you won't be disappointed!

Best dentist in town. They are all so nice and gentle. I use to have a fear and have anxiety attacks when I went to other dentists but Dr. Parmar broke my fear. The office is so clean and very affordable. I actually enjoy going now. Thank you Dr. Parmar and staff.
