Our team has over 200 years of combined experience and averages 10 years individually. Each clinical staff member is proficient in today's latest technologies, techniques, radiology, sterilization, and office safety. Our front office staff has the knowledge to assist you with scheduling, insurance, and billing arrangements, and to provide you with outstanding customer service. Collectively, our team strives to provide energetic, fun-loving and experienced care to each patient.
Dr. Mark Dale, a native of Plymouth, MN, earned his degree in dentistry from Loyola University Dental School. He then completed his specialized residency at the University of Minnesota, where he earned his Masters degree in orthodontics in 1990.
Dr. Mark stays abreast of the latest technological advancements and training in orthodontics by completing more than his required continuing education hours. Furthermore, he is an active member of the following professional organizations:
Dr. Hobday is originally from Shakopee, MN and attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he graduated with high honors and earned his degree in dentistry. Following two years of specialty training at Marquette University, he received his Masters degree in orthodontics in 1994.
Dr. Hobday completes more than his required number of continuing education hours to stay proficient in the latest innovations of orthodontic theory and techniques. He is also an active member of many professional organizations including:
Dr. Helmich is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree with high honors. He then served for three years as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, practicing as a general dentist in Norfolk, VA and San Diego, CA. As a native of Minneapolis, Dr. Helmich returned home for two years of specialty training at the University of Minnesota where he received his Masters degree in Orthodontics.
Through continuing education, Dr. Helmich, stays current with the latest advances in orthodontics and the rapidly changing technology. He is an active member of many top professional groups including:

When parking at the MG Accorde orthodontist for my daughters first appointment, she was in tears not knowing what to expect. We left after the appointment with my daughter smiling ear to ear knowing we can trust the ENTIRE staff of this office with our family's dental work! With their front desk staff reassuring us what to expect with the first time jitters, to the arcade games, hot chocolate and coffee in the waiting room, to the amazing staff who are super friendly and welcoming, we know we can trust Accorde with our orthodontist work! So far so good! We chose Accorde for braces for our 12-year old over several other practices because of good word of mouth, an excellent back office for scheduling and billing, and an excellent after care program for when the braces come off. We just had the braces installed and the technician and process were excellent. We're looking forward to future visits.

Dr Helmich and his team are amazing! Dr Helmich makes sure patient and parents know what to expect from the very first visit. They're appointment scheduling is extremely accommodating. Would recommend Accorde to anyone!

This is a phenomenal orthodontist service. The care and dedication to their patient is top notch. Dr. Hobday has a lot of patience for his patients, even ones that break their braces more than the average person. 10/10 would recommend!

We visited Accorde Orthodontics for the first time this week and were very impressed with the whole process. We felt welcomed from the beginning when booking an appointment all the way through our visit and treatment plan and scheduling to begin treatment. My son is on his second round of braces with Accorde Orthodontists and they have been absolutely wonderful! He had some issues early on in his mouth and they set up a two staged treatment plan that would allow him to have adult teeth come in naturally and then adjust as needed after that all happened. They are so wonderful at walking through the process with us and always answering all our questions. I have referred many people to Accorde and will continue to do so in the future!

I have been visiting Accorde Orthodoctists for a little over a year now for my second time. I absolutely love this clinic. I was first introduced to braces in high school and had not 1 bad experience. When I had to come back for a second round of braces, they welcomed me with open arms, haha. I definitely recommend them.
