Our team has over 200 years of combined experience and averages 10 years individually. Each clinical staff member is proficient in today's latest technologies, techniques, radiology, sterilization, and office safety. Our front office staff has the knowledge to assist you with scheduling, insurance, and billing arrangements, and to provide you with outstanding customer service. Collectively, our team strives to provide energetic, fun-loving and experienced care to each patient.
Dr. Mark Dale, a native of Plymouth, MN, earned his degree in dentistry from Loyola University Dental School. He then completed his specialized residency at the University of Minnesota, where he earned his Masters degree in orthodontics in 1990.
Dr. Mark stays abreast of the latest technological advancements and training in orthodontics by completing more than his required continuing education hours. Furthermore, he is an active member of the following professional organizations:
Dr. Hobday is originally from Shakopee, MN and attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he graduated with high honors and earned his degree in dentistry. Following two years of specialty training at Marquette University, he received his Masters degree in orthodontics in 1994.
Dr. Hobday completes more than his required number of continuing education hours to stay proficient in the latest innovations of orthodontic theory and techniques. He is also an active member of many professional organizations including:
Dr. Helmich is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree with high honors. He then served for three years as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, practicing as a general dentist in Norfolk, VA and San Diego, CA. As a native of Minneapolis, Dr. Helmich returned home for two years of specialty training at the University of Minnesota where he received his Masters degree in Orthodontics.
Through continuing education, Dr. Helmich, stays current with the latest advances in orthodontics and the rapidly changing technology. He is an active member of many top professional groups including:

My son and I both completed our treatments with Dr. Helmich. I did Invisaligns and my son did braces. We are both so satisfied with the final results. Dr. Helmich and his staff are very professional and they know what they are doing. The reception staff are always welcoming and helpful.

I have two kids currently receiving treatment at the Champlin Accorde Orthodontic Clinic. They have always done a great job explaining what they are doing and making sure my kids understand what's happening. This is especially helpful for my apprehensive daughter. Everyone that works there is personable, friendly, makes eye contact and communicates clearly. I know that if my other two kids need orthodontic care, Accorde will continue to be our first choice!

We absolutely love Accorde. I had two kids who needed braces. From the very first tour with Heather, to every appointment since, we have received the most top notch service and care. Every LDA has been friendly, explains the process thoroughly, and very professional. Dr Hobday is clearly very skilled and I have felt very reassured with every decision he has made for my boys. The front desk staff are so welcoming and have been very helpful finding appointments that fit in with our busy schedule as well as finding a few last minute unexpected appointments we needed. The facility is extremely clean, and my kids love the arcade games in the lobby. Accorde is somewhere they are always excited to go and often ask to come early to play pacman. I would absolutely recommend Accorde over any other local orthodontists.

Updated: we continue to have great service at Accorde. We go to Champlin and sometimes Maple Grove. Oldest finished in visualize and my youngest has his second phase of traditional metal braces. Always friendly and quick to resolve the couple minor issues we had (bracket coming off). Original Post Both of my boys have been going to accorde. My youngest had Phase 1 braces and headgear. My oldest will be getting Invisalign in the next couple of months. Our experience has been very good.

The clinic was very clean. Complimentary Starbucks coffee, tea and water are available! There are also arcade games free to use while waiting. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and worked in a timely manner. On our first visit we were given a tour! I've never had that before. Highly recommend!
