My parents were missionaries in the Philippines and I grew up as a missionary kid during my childhood. At the time, I had the opportunity to observe various mission trips that came to the area to serve. One that stood out to me the most was a group of dentists that came every year to provide service to those in need. Even at a young age, I could see the importance of oral health and how it affects not only one's' smile but their overall health, self esteem and confidence, and general quality of life. I was able to witness firsthand the impact the dentists had on their patients. I saw that they did not simply fix their patients' teeth but by doing so they healed them on a deeper level. That's why I chose to be a dentist. Regardless of the profession I chose, I wanted to help improve the lives of those that I encounter. I felt that as a dentist, it provided a way for me to accomplish that goal in a practical and effective way.

Needing very important dental work done that's going to cost $2000 but their form of a "payment plan" consists of making payments in only 2 installments. Like really? So $1000 to start the treatment and $1000 once it's done. I need it done like yesterday but now have to save up several paychecks to get it done. They offer care credit if you can't do the 2 payments as the only other option, so I applied for care credit WHICH DOES ding your credit when you apply if you aren't approved. They can't expect even the majority of people to be able to make payments like this, or even be approved for care credit.

I love Access Dental they're like family to us and they always help play with My Daughter when we go in and she loves them. And they always remember and ask how everyone is I wish they were able to take her but she's too young. I recommend everyone I know who needs a dentist. I always get in really quick also

I've gone to Access Dental in Olympia for 5 years, for services ranging from routine care, to fillings, to crowns. I really like them. The office staff is patient, friendly, professional and helpful. The dental assistants know their stuff, and the dentists are just terrific, very skilled, great at explanations. And they'll work with you if you're uninsured or under-insured. I moved further away but will travel for them, I like them so much.

Absolutely disturbed by this place. Don't come here if you're in pain! I went in Friday 9/16/22 with serve, nauseating tooth and jaw pain. The lady who took my x rays kept bumping the machine causing more irritation and discomfort. Finally Dr Dong Han came in to "examine" he didn't even check my mouth. Looked at the X-rays and claimed it was my wisdom teeth that need to be removed. I told him that's not where the pain was coming from as he concluded "well it's hard to tell what teeth are hurting" along with "We need to start with the bigger issue and work from there" he promptly prescribed me amoxicillin with no pain relievers and sent me on my way with a referral to an oral surgeon who didn't even accept my insurance! I woke up the next morning to a swollen face and rushed to an urgent care that ACTUALLY took care of my issue. The doctor at urgent care was very concerned about the way this dentist treated me as this could have ended in severe complications or even death.

Had new patient X-rays, teeth cleaning, and a cavity filled all in 1 quick visit. Dr. Kim doesn't mess around! Hygienist, technician and office staff were also wonderful. Probably the best dental care experience I've had.

I am allergic to Lidocaine, like anaphylaxis allergic to it. I waited a year, was tested for anesthesia that I am able to use and was finally able to use one...not lidocaine. I brought my letter in along with my EpiPen on my Dr instructions just in case the other anesthesia caused a reaction they didn't catch on my testing. Well...after telling the front desk, the dental assistant and putting my letter and EpiPen on the counter Dr Lee still injected me with Lidocaine. Fortunately I had my EpiPen and I didn't go into anaphylaxis, but he could have KILLED me! This is incompetence and carelessness that could have ended up very badly. I'm thankful it didn't and pray it doesn't happen to anyone else. Be careful going here.

This place is not only helped me multiple times by getting me in fast when I had a dental emergency (within 10 minutes) but we accidentally left my mom's walker in the parking lot and they made sure it was out of sight so we could find it. Thank you so much. They are fast, efficient, and friendly. Recommend highly.

I went here for a few years and it was fine. Needed to make an appointment, but they said last year I missed a follow up appointment and they will no longer work with me. I had gotten a new phone number so I didn't receive the reminder phone call and just had forgotten about my appointment. (I'm sure it happens. Life gets chaotic.) I asked the woman (Nichole) if the boss or supervisor was available and she said " they stepped out for a bit." So I asked for the supervisor to call me back to work this out and she was snooty and said okay but didn't take down my new number until I said something. I still have never heard back from anyone and that was my second time reaching out. They are also one of the few that accept my insurance in the area. Very disappointed.

Nicole and Dr. were so friendly and kind that I had none of my usual dental anxiety. They took the time to talk with me and look carefully. Thank you! Positive experiences like this are balm to my usual fear. I am grateful for AppleCare's free checkup and cleaning. Now to figure out how to afford the necessary crown, on caregiver wages, to prevent loss of a tooth. I do very much appreciate the care you do give.

Dentists like this are why I avoid care. I'll be looking for another one for the cavities they found. If you are neurodivergent or anxious I do not recommend Access. The staff were all kind, the doctor was not. I'm sure he's great for neurotypical people. Most things in life are like that. I am not returning here. I left bleeding in tears. They didn't even rinse my mouth out. No compassion.

The ladies working in the office were awesome. They earn their money. However, the dentist seems like a used car salesman. I left with same toothache i came in with. Too busy on upsale to help.
