I had gone here back in 2019 and don't recommend this place based on that experience. I had been needing to get my wisdom teeth removed for quite some time because they were partially erupted AND eroded, so I chose Access because they offer discounts and affordable care to low-income individuals like me without dental insurance. The process of actually going there was wonderful! The facility was clean and the staff were friendly, but everything else was a hassle. After my appointment, where I got xrays and a referral for oral surgery, it took 5 calls in the span of one month (each time they told me the scheduler wasn't available and would call me back) for them to finally tell me they couldn't put me on the schedule because there was a 3 month waiting list. Not only that, but they were unable to refer me anywhere else because "the only other place that accepts our referrals is in Milwaukee and they're booked up for months as well". I feel like going here was a complete waste of time. I couldn't wait 3+ months to have my wisdom teeth removed because the nerves/roots were exposed which means I was in a constant state of pain and could hardly even eat. I had to go to a different dentist who required new xrays which cost me around $300, then ended up having to apply for CareCredit for the wisdom tooth surgery which cost around $4000 (which I'm still paying on 3 years later and has ended up costing much more due to interest).

I have been going here for a few years. The staff is great. They have always been kind and patient towards me and my family. The place is always clean. I am taking a star off though because of how difficult it is to get an appointment. I was told I have to call on a Monday to schedule a normal Exam because they're all booked up already. They also couldn't schedule me an emergency exam on the spot. My info was passed to someone who worked in triage and I had to wait for that person to be available to call me back. Granted they do call as soon as they can but if you miss the call then it becomes a lot of you calling back and waiting for them to be available to call you again. Also, you cannot book months ahead of time for any normal cleaning/exam. You're only allowed to do so once it's closer to the time frame that you're supposed to have a cleaning/exam.

I agree with the other reviewers, this place is great. The waiting room has toys and such for kids, all the staff is great at helping schedule or cancel appointments. The dentists are awesome at doing the work and offering options on dental care, etc. I also want to think them for doing their their jobs during this pandemic. Dentists & hygienists are more at risk by getting up close and personal, being in your mouth and such puts them at greater risk than doctors. Be sure to thank them on your way out after correcting your dental issues...

My father has dementia and is in a nursing home but was being transported to Sun Prairie for dental visits. He was at an appointment for a cleaning and complained of tooth pain in a back tooth. He was told they did not have time that day to address the tooth pain and was scheduled for the following week. In the meantime the pain worsened and he spoke with dental staff who were going to fax a prescription for medication. Two days we worked on trying to get this prescription and never got it. The day of the appointment the clinic canceled the appointment without giving a reason and rescheduled another appointment for 1 month out. By this time his tooth pain was a 10/10 and his face was swollen. His house Administrator sent him to the ER for antibiotics and pain medicine. We now have to find another dentist for this emergency. Very poor patient care.

Friendly, caring and very professional. Even called me the day after to see how I was feeling. Painless proceedure. Top notch! Have several more appointments with them and have no anxiety about further dental care.

I hadn't been happy or comfortable with a dentist in years. They made me feel comfortable and welcome. I've been happy since day one with them and the help they've given me. I'm going to feel comfortable smiling for the first time in 34 years. Thank You All

Went in as a non member, waited 3 minutes before my name was called. As a young man making above average a hour and still behind on bills this was a godsend. I was in a rough spot financially recently they diagnosed me and removed my wisdom tooth. At the end of my uneventual period of surgery I came out happier that I could be billed, and a payment option is available. Thank you!

I have never had such a painless procedure. I have terrible issues with 'dental anxiety that usually requires nitrous oxide gas. I have had extractions two separate times now and they were literally painfree WITHOUT the nitrous. These dentists are some of the best I have ever met.. The assistants were very kind and caring, helping to relieve my anxiety the whole time. This is a great place.
