Dr. Chelsea Accardo was born in Victoria, Canada. She attended LSU on a soccer scholarship where she was team captain her final year and named to the Academic All-American team. She obtained both her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Sociology with a 4.0 GPA. She then attended LSU School of Dentistry and graduated as a member of the OKU honor society in 2010. Dr. Accardo completed her post-graduate specialty training in Endodontics at LSU and has been in private practice since 2012. She is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics since 2016.
She also gives back by traveling with mission trips, which allow her to continue to learn, research, and collaborate with other innovative colleagues in the field of dentistry. Dr. Accardo is also gratis faculty member at the dental school.
Nick was born in New Orleans and went to high school in Franklin Louisiana. After running track and cross country at LSU, Nick has had a prolific career as an ultramarathon runner. He was a member of Team USA that won a gold medal at the 100km Worlds Championship Ultramarathon in 2014. You can often find Nick running around the entire city! Nick has a Master degree in Education and taught middle and high school, coached (wrestling, cross-county and track) and was the athletic director at Holy Rosary High School for 9 years. Nick is married to Dr. Chelsea Accardo and they have been married for 14 years and have two wonderful boys (aged 6 and 12).
Jasmine is a native New Orleanian and went to Warren Easton High School. She enjoys taking her daughter to art exhibits and museums throughout town. Jasmine loves going to all Louisiana festivals but especially Jazz Fest and French Quarter Fest. She also loves going to Saints games with her partner Joshua (who is a super fan!). Fun fact, Jasmine studied theatre in college and is a theatre buff. Jasmine has worked in the dental and medical fields for 10 years. She is our insurance specialist and receptionist extraordinaire!
Natasha has worked as a dental assistant since 1999. She is originally from the Westbank and went to high school at L.W. Higgins. Natasha enjoys watching her boys play baseball and camping. She is also a mean roller skater and reports that she has a decent bowling record too. You can find her at the Gumbofest in Bridge city every year and she can't wait for her next trip to Germany to visit her family.
Dr. Accardo began her endodontic career attending Louisiana State University where she earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Sociology in 2006, a DDS in 2010, and her post-graduate specialty training in endodontics in 2012. During this time she worked on research, including getting published in Journal of Endodontics, Volume 40, Issue 2.
Dr. Accardo is also a Board Certified Endodontist. Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics are a distinguished group of practitioners dedicated to the improvement in the field both professionally and personally. The process to obtain board certification is rigorous and only about 25% of all endodontic specialists are certified.
Dr. Accardo practiced with Endodontic Associates in Slidell and Greta, and briefly in Gulfport and Denham Springs before beginning her own private practice here in Mid-City, New Orleans. She values the time she spent at each of her former places of employment and has implemented the things she has learned along each step of the way to create the most enjoyable patient experience at Accardo Endodontics LLC.

The office staff were responsive, thoughtful, and attentive. Dr. Accardo was extremely thorough, walked my through the imaging and X-rays, and took a lot of time to explain my options and answer questions. I highly recomend this practice.

I've spent hundreds of hours at various dentist and endodontist offices around the world. Chelsea Accardo is literally one of the nicest, most caring professionals I've ever had drill into one of my teeth. The shot of novocain somehow didn't hurt and she helped me relax so much during the root canal that I fell asleep twice. She's extremely thorough and made sure everything was done perfectly. She should teach at a university so more people work like her. Her assistants were also awesome. Hopefully won't need to go back to an endodontist, but if I do I'm going to her fa sho

Was well greeted as soon as I walked in. First time getting a root canal and was the best experience! I was nervous but Ms. Skylar and Dr. Accardo helped through the process and I had 0 pain through the process other than the anesthetic which I hate needles. Would definitely recommend even for anyone that's pregnant, they definitely know how to accommodate you to be as comfortable throughout the procedure.

I had an AMAZING experience getting a root canal ! I had an insignificant amount of pain getting the shot to deaden the area of the root canal and NO pain during the procedure snd so far no pain since the procedure ! In addition the Doctor was extremely caring, gentle and competent! Finally the staff are very professional but also they are caring and concerned for the needs and comfort of their patients! I really can't say enough because there just aren't words to describe how great my experience was yesterday!

Dr. Accardo was wonderful. I had a very complex problem and she spent nearly two hours figuring out the correct solution. The final test that revealed the cause of the pain was simple yet brilliant. I was very impressed with her and pleased that I had chosen her to help me. In addition to her skill as a doctor, she is very personable and friendly. She listens to what you are saying, making the whole experience very productive and pleasant. Not something you ordinarily say about going to the dentist!

Dr Accardo is so amazing you'll wish you needed another root canal just so you can go back and see her! But seriously, I've never had an experience like this at a dentist office. She is very comforting and understanding and takes the time to explain everything before and during the procedure. She really goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and at ease. She got me in and out quickly and the quality of her work is A+. I would give Dr Accardo and her staff 10 stars if I could.

Best experience! Dr. Accardo is warm, friendly and very professional! She made an incredibly horrible root canal in to the best experience possible. Very happy I was referred to her office for this procedure, her work is meticulous and the costs are very reasonable.
