Dr. Whitney is a native of New Iberia, Louisiana. She attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology and minor in business. She was involved in Zeta Tau Alpha, student government, and served as both the president of Woffords discipline council and homecoming queen.
She attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate Dental Surgery. Dr. Whitney served as the president of her class during all four years of dental school. She was awarded the Delta Dental Scholarship Student Leadership Award, the Community Service award for Pediatric Dentistry, and the Outstanding Achievement in Pediatric Dentistry Award. She earned both an Honors in Leadership and was the Grace Voigt Scholarship for leadership.
Dr. Whitney is a Type One Diabetic and learned from an early age that every child is unique and faces different daily challenges. Children deserve the confidence that comes with a cavity-free smile that they cannot wait to show off. Helping children succeed in both the dental chair and in life are her true passions. She is thrilled to be home serving the community that she loves.
