A graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, Dr. Kluss earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at the University of California, Davis. Shortly after completing his graduate work in 1987, he started his dental practice in Mission Viejo.
Dr. Kluss keeps up with the latest advancements in dental care through continuing education, having undergone several hundred hours of additional training in all phases of dentistry. A practicing member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (one of the most prestigious organizations in cosmetic dentistry), he is also a current member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society.
Dr. Kluss incorporated Cerec technology into his practice ten years ago and enjoys being able to make and deliver crowns in a single visit. He says, My patients are amazed at the process and are excited to watch their crowns being made and all say that they would never have a crown done the old way again!.
Dr. Kluss has been certified to place dental implants and uses his Cerec technology with 3D scanning to digitally plan the placement of the implant with the final crown in mind to make the whole process easier and more predictable.
Dr. Kluss has been caring for dental patients from his office in San Juan Capistrano since 1993. He lives in nearby Dove Canyon with his wife Traci and actively participates at Trabuco Presbyterian Church in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Angie has worked in the dental field since 1999. She grew up in Oregon and moved to Orange County in 1997. Some of Angies favorite past times are spending time with family, enjoying nature and the outdoors and watching sports.
Natalia is originally from Argentina, she moved to Southern California in 2012. She is married and lives in Costa Mesa with her husband Pablo. Natalia has worked in the dental field since 2005. She started working with Dr. Kluss since 2013. When Natalia is not working she enjoys working out, talking long walks and spending time with her husband and friends.
Collette became a hygienist in 1990. She has worked for Dr. Kluss since 2005. She lives in Dana Point with her husband and two daughters. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys traveling with her family.
Chris grew up in Northern California. He graduated from Dental Hygiene school at Middlesex Community College in Massachusetts, 2005. He enjoys getting to know his patients individually to provide high quality dental care. In his spare time he enjoys exercising, surfing and spending time with his family and friends.

It has been YEARS since I have felt so good about a dentist and his office. The entire staff is so welcoming. The billing is done perfectly and Theresa is so accommodating. For example, I was urgently in need of a crown before moving up North. They got me in right away. They also had me in and out with a new crown within 2 hours. Dr. Kluss was a perfectionist when creating my tooth and he showed me every step of the way in its developing stages. I was so impressed. I will now drive down to San Juan Capistrano to continue going to Dr. Kluss. Thank you so much Absolute Smile, you are so true to your name.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kluss for more than 12 years and have always received the same excellent service each and every time. Teresa and Dr. Kluss treat each patient like a welcome friend or family member. Your comfort level and concerns are always their first priority. And when my 84yr old father who was on blood thinners needed urgent dental care, Dr. Kluss was the ONLY dentist I would trust with his care. Truly a fantastic experience.... Starting with Theresa and the logistics end of getting my appointment and payment handled with ease. There were no unnecessary hoops to jump through, nor any surprises at time of payment. She is a fantastic commuicator, which is important to me because, I am someone who has avoided appointments with other dentists because of the lack in "people skills" by the receptionists in their offices, and if anything Theresa makes the opposite true, I now want to keep coming back. Dr Kluss is undoubtedly a highly skilled professional, that is evident in the existing reviews. But I want to suggest to readers of this review, that the intangibles of his practice, like honesty and integrity as a professional, allow you to leave each and every appointment knowing that you were treated with dignity as a client, and had just experienced care by an individual with your health/well-being in mind, rather than their wallet.

We are very happy with our Dentist, Robert Kluss. Both my husband and I have had the best dental care. We seldom every wait in the outer office, all the staff are friendly and helpful and our teeth feel and look great! Anyone looking for a good Dentist will be glad after the first visit. Dr. Kluss and the Absolute Smile team do a great job taking care of me and my teeth on every visit. The dental assistants and office staff are extremely personable and accommodating. I have had my dental work and checkups here for two years and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Had a crown done today in about an hour and a half. No need for temps and a second visit. Dr. Kluss made my crown right there in his office. Very cool watching my "tooth" be made on his CNC machine. Very friendly staff as well. Made me feel right at home.

We are very happy with our Dentist, Robert Kluss. Both my husband and I have had the best dental care.
