Dr. Prada has been affiliated with Absolute Dental since 2004 and now owns and leads the practice. She graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1990, completed her residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital General Practice Residency Program in 1991, New York University College of Dentistry in Pediatric Dentistry Specialty in 1993.
She has a celebrated history in pediatric dentistry and is well known for the charitable work she performs for underprivileged children. She is also a Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. Dr. Prada has been practicing dentistry for 27 years and has been chairside in Pediatric Dentistry for the past 24 years.
On behalf of Dr. Prada, it is truly my pleasure to introduce Dr. Scott Futch. Dr. Futch has joined Absolute Dental as our Northern Nevada Clinical Director beginning April 3, 2017.Dr. Futch graduated from University of Michigan School of Dentistry and has completed his training at the Dawson Academy; a postgraduate multi-disciplinary education and clinical research facility dedicated to the advancement of dentistry. He has distinguished himself in private practice and as a partner in a large multi-specialty group practice within a dental support organization. Dr. Futch brings to Absolute Dental a 27-year career as an experienced and skilled clinician, mentor and coach.
Dr. Walia has been a practicing Implantologist and a Periodontist for over a decade. His journey began in 2001 when he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. Upon graduation, Dr. Walia completed a year of training in oral medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey and was then the Chief Resident in Advanced Hospital Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Centre, in Brooklyn, New York. He obtained a certificate in the field of implant dentistry and periodontology in 2006 from the prestigious University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. His specialty work includes implant dentistry, diagnosis and treatment planning gum disease, periodontal plastic surgery involving root coverage, surgical extractions with bone grafting, guided bone regeneration and augmentation, ridge splitting and expansion, and internal and external maxillary sinus lifts. Dr. Walia regularly attends conferences and continuing education courses across the globe. He was a visiting clinical attending doctor at various prestigious hospitals in New York City area in the early part of his career. Dr. Walia has a genuine desire to provide comprehensive non-surgical and surgical periodontal care to patients of all ages. He is committed to providing the highest standards and state of the art treatment available. Dr. Walia encourages all patients to have an informative session and review their current oral health as well as various treatment techniques to enhance their oral health. In his free time, he loves to travel the world, play golf and tennis and enjoys music. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and is licensed in the states of New York, New Jersey, California, Nevada and Arizona.
Dr. Bath earned her DDS from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Masters of Public Health from New York Medical College. Her passion is to promote dental health in the community. She also has a doctorate degree in Dental Surgery and Masters in Public Health. Dr. Baths personal interests include traveling, watching movies and spending time with my family.
She received their Associate of Applied Science from El Paso Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Along with receiving certifications in Local Anesthesia: Nitrous Oxide and Laser-Assisted Dental Therapy.

Wonderful staff. Kind, helpful, great with kids. Manager helped with an insurance snafu and all the staff went above and beyond. Highly recommend them.

My wife and I love Dr. Pham, caring and honest, BUT the staff at this office is horrible. They have trouble getting the insurance correctly billed and they refused my wife's services when they changed her appointment time and she was 10 minutes late, but 20 minutes before the original time! Also, my previous experience with another dentist at a Carson City office bordered on malpractice when she extracted two teeth that did not need to be removed. Clearly, we are done with this organization and will seek dental care elsewhere.

One of the worst customer service!!! we are their customers from last couple of years. Their staff is very rude, first of all they do not attend you and just tell you to wait, not even ask you what are you here for.... My wife is using braces and visited them to adjust them on Oct 20th, staff recommend that go back home and just use clipper as they very busy. Now we are looking for other place for the treatment. We have logged the complaint to their head office ( las Vegas) but no action so far. Now we will log the complaint to Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners. I hope they will take some action.

On 9/9/22 I called for an appointment they were very booked and it was an emergency they've moved things around they can always do this but they were kind and professional the staff members were so professional and kind it's phenomenal the doctor the facility is so cleaned and high tact I was shocked I thought I was in California Personally I think Boston in California is the best Dentis is in United States just putting my preference out there this dentist office was just like that it made me feel at home it was clean and high-tech the staff members are unbelievable kind and concerned about their patients that Dentis is very understanding and very professional you feel like home here if you do not go to the to absolute dental on South Virginia next to Olive Garden it would be the biggest mistake I've seen the other absolute dentals and they're nice but this one it makes a bad day into a smiling game it makes a normal off is it quick and easy and smooth I was filling out documents and I seen patients go in and out quickly for small visits and smiling and glowing and please and thank you it was a very appropriate and happy harmony office visit Cell for those that don't like Dentis is and you want professional work I highly recommend this location stay blessed because there are blessed people out there and I want to say thank you to the south Virginia absolute dental for giving me the kindness and knowing that even though some of your patients may not appreciate you know that many of us do God bless you for taking the time out to work at this location and loving your patience !

Sham of a business, I will never set foot in that office again. Twice my dental plan was changed and of course CASH only for the new teeth cleaning again after paying $1000 out of pocket !

Jana at this office is hands down the best at delivering caring, reliable and helpful "customer service"! She went above and beyond in my eyes to help me with my dental emergency/insurance problems. Words cannot explain how thankful I am for the people at this office. I called them for my fiance who had multiple multiple infected and broken teeth. They were able to get around quickly and give her antibiotics to help kill the infection but also miss Jana, Was a big help. Very informative and communication was very good between us. She went above and beyond and help get my fiance an appointment the next day to get her teeth removed. Is original appointment with set out to December. I am very happy and pleased with This office and staff. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends. Actually we dread going to the dentist or having to do anything with the dentist because of how long it takes but this time it went nice and smooth thank you miss Jana.

Jana was awesome she helped me . I was a walk-in and she helped me even to refer me to an oral surgeon she was so helpful and she has slot of compassion. All the staff including Dr Pham were very professional and kind. I recommend there help . Thank you

I took the day off to go have my chipped tooth fixed, I specifically told the girl I had medicaid (LIBERTY) insurance and still told me it was ok to come in. Right off the bat I paid 40 dollars because yeah they don't accept IBERTY, they took x-rays and then hit me with "your insurance don't cover the work u need! They told me to apply for Care Credit and Smile Savers I did and did not qualify because my credit score is not 700+ I called the office and told them I was denied and they told me... Yeah sorry u gotta pay in full or we can't help u!! They should retrain their employees and let people know they don't accept liberty insurance right off the bat then that way we don't lose a day of work and 40 dollars out of our pockets for NOTHING!!

My appointment is tomorrow they had me wait a whole month to get my tooth pulled gave me the runaround the day before my appointment then tells me the dentist is only excepting cash payments I am in agonizing pain my tooth hurts a lot and I don't have the money to pay for a tooth removal that is supposed to be covered by my insurance but they say they don't except liberty dental so should you have told me that before you had me come in a month later just to tell me you are only excepting cash payments trash don't go here don't make an appointment Sue if you can

Dr Nick bauter is the worst orthodontist . I was his patient at Bortho, he destroyed my teeth. He has no idea how to line up the rear bite on your teeth and will blame it on you. In the end my is smashed the teeth inward on my jaw and collapsed my right arch. My two front teeth we lopsided. I'm sure he did it out of spite. Do not see this orthodontist.

I had a routine cleaning scheduled on a Monday. I received a text message that showed my appointment time was changed to an earlier time so I called to inquire. I was told Monday's no longer had a hygienist in so I rescheduled to the next Wednesday at 8:50a. I showed up on time with my confirmation messages and appointment card and was told I could not be serviced. Reception and management passed the blame onto a call center. I called the call center who informed me they saw the history log and everything was handled by the South Virginia location not the call center. No alternatives provided, could have simply seen me before the 9am patients or offered to reschedule ASAP. Extremely rude reception and management.
