Dr. Prada has been affiliated with Absolute Dental since 2004 and now owns and leads the practice. She graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1990, completed her residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital General Practice Residency Program in 1991, New York University College of Dentistry in Pediatric Dentistry Specialty in 1993.
She has a celebrated history in pediatric dentistry and is well known for the charitable work she performs for underprivileged children. She is also a Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. Dr. Prada has been practicing dentistry for 27 years and has been chairside in Pediatric Dentistry for the past 24 years.
On behalf of Dr. Prada, it is truly my pleasure to introduce Dr. Scott Futch. Dr. Futch has joined Absolute Dental as our Northern Nevada Clinical Director beginning April 3, 2017.Dr. Futch graduated from University of Michigan School of Dentistry and has completed his training at the Dawson Academy; a postgraduate multi-disciplinary education and clinical research facility dedicated to the advancement of dentistry. He has distinguished himself in private practice and as a partner in a large multi-specialty group practice within a dental support organization. Dr. Futch brings to Absolute Dental a 27-year career as an experienced and skilled clinician, mentor and coach.
Dr. Walia has been a practicing Implantologist and a Periodontist for over a decade. His journey began in 2001 when he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. Upon graduation, Dr. Walia completed a year of training in oral medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey and was then the Chief Resident in Advanced Hospital Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Centre, in Brooklyn, New York. He obtained a certificate in the field of implant dentistry and periodontology in 2006 from the prestigious University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. His specialty work includes implant dentistry, diagnosis and treatment planning gum disease, periodontal plastic surgery involving root coverage, surgical extractions with bone grafting, guided bone regeneration and augmentation, ridge splitting and expansion, and internal and external maxillary sinus lifts. Dr. Walia regularly attends conferences and continuing education courses across the globe. He was a visiting clinical attending doctor at various prestigious hospitals in New York City area in the early part of his career. Dr. Walia has a genuine desire to provide comprehensive non-surgical and surgical periodontal care to patients of all ages. He is committed to providing the highest standards and state of the art treatment available. Dr. Walia encourages all patients to have an informative session and review their current oral health as well as various treatment techniques to enhance their oral health. In his free time, he loves to travel the world, play golf and tennis and enjoys music. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and is licensed in the states of New York, New Jersey, California, Nevada and Arizona.
Dr. Bath earned her DDS from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Masters of Public Health from New York Medical College. Her passion is to promote dental health in the community. She also has a doctorate degree in Dental Surgery and Masters in Public Health. Dr. Baths personal interests include traveling, watching movies and spending time with my family.
She received their Associate of Applied Science from El Paso Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Along with receiving certifications in Local Anesthesia: Nitrous Oxide and Laser-Assisted Dental Therapy.

Is it safe? This used to be a joke until you live it. It's been 3 months since they ripped out my teeth, took 30hrs to get antibiotics, refused a 2nd round of antibiotics, refused to remove bone shards, screwed me the way they ordered the dentures cant get real ones for 5 years. Caused an abcess & now I have to see a specialist to go into my jaw socket with a needle to drain fluid. Actually wound up in the er. I've been living on v8 & diet shakes mostly as I can't hardly open my mouth and chewing is impossible. I hear a couple shards can happen but when your in the high teens??? Oh and not to mention they had me return a 13month expired bottle of toothpaste they sold me for my daughter as well as dated dental floss but the floss was up this year unlike the toothpaste Too limited on here I'll put my original draft on Craigslist I spent 2hrs writing

The manager Sabrina is the most childish rudest person she forced me to pay for braces and she promised to give back my money after the orthopedic took the braces off and then decided to lie to my husband by saying she never said that which she did she promised me my money she even said that her boss authorized for me to get all of my money back then on top of that she kicked my son out of all of the absolute dental offices for no reason while also knowing that my son has autism this place only cares about money and I have also called her boss numerous times and left messages and I have yet to hear from her boss Emily I don't recommend this place especially for people with disabilities because Sabrina miss treats patients with disabilities and she also refuses to call medical insurance companies so she can steal your money

Absolute Dental, all they care is about the money and the front desk staff is the most hostile, arrogant and condescending. The dentist has nothing to say in comparison to the office manager. They play with the prices like no one else. I never paid as much for the teeth cleaning as I paid with them and on the top of everything they chased me with additional charges after fact without any explanation. I will not recommend this place to anyone! Unfortunately there is no 0 stars, they don't even deserve a 1 star.

The entire staff at Absolute Dental are the best! If you've ever experienced anxiety or fear about dentistry, this is the place to go! From the minute you walk in, you are treated with professionalism and compassion.

Abosolute Dental is absolutely the worst dentist office I've ever went to. They make you fill mountains of paperwork everytime you go (some paper forms ask you for the same information three times on the same page), all they care is about the money (they charge you before they perform the procedures!) and the front desk staff is the most hostile, arrogant and condescending. They are bullies and they act as if they are doing you a favor, and if you don't like tough! I will nor recommend this place to anyone! Unfortunately there is no 0 stars, they don't even deserve a 1 star

I'll tell you what, I absolutely hate going to the dentist but the staff at this location is absolutely amazing the dentist was awesome and easy to talk to, and all the ladies there are so super pretty, sweet, kind, professional, helpful and sooo friendly they actually made my day, I'd give them 100 stars if I could.. thank you for turning my nightmare into a daydream

I'm very afraid of dentist. Absolute was recommended by a friend. I called and they got me in the same day. I had two teeth on the bottom back that had to be removed. The infection was so painful. From the time I arrived to when I left everyone there was so carring and understood my fear. I was very lucky to have Dr C. Carpenter be my dentist, he was wonderful. He told me everything he'll be doing and while removing the 2 teeth he told me step by step what he was doing. I was very grateful. He totally understood my fear and did a wonderful job making me feel safe and not to worry. Dr C Carpenter will be my dentist when I'm in need for help. Thank you so much Dr Carpenter for everything.

I was able to make an appointment through my new dental plan within days. I need the deep cleaning procedure done and Absolute Dental was able to accommodate my needs very quickly. The staff is professional and dr. Carpenter is understanding and gentle to the touch. I'm very happy with Absolute Dental.
