Dr. Prada has been affiliated with Absolute Dental since 2004 and now owns and leads the practice. She graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1990, completed her residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital General Practice Residency Program in 1991, New York University College of Dentistry in Pediatric Dentistry Specialty in 1993.
She has a celebrated history in pediatric dentistry and is well known for the charitable work she performs for underprivileged children. She is also a Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. Dr. Prada has been practicing dentistry for 27 years and has been chairside in Pediatric Dentistry for the past 24 years.
On behalf of Dr. Prada, it is truly my pleasure to introduce Dr. Scott Futch. Dr. Futch has joined Absolute Dental as our Northern Nevada Clinical Director beginning April 3, 2017.Dr. Futch graduated from University of Michigan School of Dentistry and has completed his training at the Dawson Academy; a postgraduate multi-disciplinary education and clinical research facility dedicated to the advancement of dentistry. He has distinguished himself in private practice and as a partner in a large multi-specialty group practice within a dental support organization. Dr. Futch brings to Absolute Dental a 27-year career as an experienced and skilled clinician, mentor and coach.
Dr. Walia has been a practicing Implantologist and a Periodontist for over a decade. His journey began in 2001 when he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. Upon graduation, Dr. Walia completed a year of training in oral medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey and was then the Chief Resident in Advanced Hospital Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Centre, in Brooklyn, New York. He obtained a certificate in the field of implant dentistry and periodontology in 2006 from the prestigious University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. His specialty work includes implant dentistry, diagnosis and treatment planning gum disease, periodontal plastic surgery involving root coverage, surgical extractions with bone grafting, guided bone regeneration and augmentation, ridge splitting and expansion, and internal and external maxillary sinus lifts. Dr. Walia regularly attends conferences and continuing education courses across the globe. He was a visiting clinical attending doctor at various prestigious hospitals in New York City area in the early part of his career. Dr. Walia has a genuine desire to provide comprehensive non-surgical and surgical periodontal care to patients of all ages. He is committed to providing the highest standards and state of the art treatment available. Dr. Walia encourages all patients to have an informative session and review their current oral health as well as various treatment techniques to enhance their oral health. In his free time, he loves to travel the world, play golf and tennis and enjoys music. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and is licensed in the states of New York, New Jersey, California, Nevada and Arizona.
Dr. Bath earned her DDS from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Masters of Public Health from New York Medical College. Her passion is to promote dental health in the community. She also has a doctorate degree in Dental Surgery and Masters in Public Health. Dr. Baths personal interests include traveling, watching movies and spending time with my family.
She received their Associate of Applied Science from El Paso Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Along with receiving certifications in Local Anesthesia: Nitrous Oxide and Laser-Assisted Dental Therapy.

Came to get a filling for my reversible pulpitis and Dr. Melony was one of the sweetest dentists I've had! And I've been to a lot of dentists haha, she was very attentive, efficient, and caring. Also I happened to come on wig day lol the entire staff seemed very happy to be there. :)

My experience has always been an smooth experience. The receptionist are very professional and kind. I feel safe and protected by my dentist. I am never for ed to accept just anything. They explain my very best solution for my teeth.

I've been there 3 times now in the past 2 months and every time everyone is very professional, knowledgeable, and understanding. Today's visit to get my temp crown replaced with the permanent one went so well! Fits perfectly thanks to Melondy, probably spelt her name wrong! The sizing she did and placement has it fitting perfectly and pain-free!

Dentist gave about 60 seconds of his time and focused only on the $5000.00 implant they tried to sell me. When leaving this review they have posted on on their Google site that implants are 3k. I asked the record lady to send my records to my brother who is a dentist. She never sent them. My current dentist told me of the reason the records weren't sent to my brother. Evidently my tooth they wanted to extract and implant is a baby tooth and is still functional. I scheduled a second appointment and when I arrived for my appointment the office told me they called me earlier that day to cancel. I didn't have any missed calls that day. I politely rescheduled and returned favor then found an honest dentist that was concerned about my dental health and not Absolute Dental Corporate profits. You can send me the cancelation fee if you send my records to my brother and you send me your phone records for the day you say you called to cancel. Don't fire your Hygienist, she does a good job. I don't do business people I don't trust.

This dentist office is great. I recently moved to the area and needed a check up. The entire staff is professional, kind, and even funny at times. Admittedly I don't have a lot of dental issues, but they took the time to give me a full examination and located a potential problem. The dental hygienist Christine is awesome. She is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and reassuring. She is a "unicorn" in the profession. Cannot recommend this office enough. Thank you all!

My daughter was scheduled for a 3pm orthodontic consult. We arrived 20 mins early as we are filling out our paperwork 4 other people come in check in with the orthodontist desk saying they also have 3pm appts. Their lobby is the size of a small bedroom with probably 20 people in there with 8 chairs. No covid precautions like they claimed on the website. I didn't get my temperature checked or anyone that came after me. I even went to the counter and asked him how to five people have 3:00 appointments with the orthodontist and all their answer was is we're busy. So how about don't book that many appointments for the same time on the same day. Their children side at that same location is great! Needless to say I had to walk out of there without getting our consult done because it felt like unsafe conditions in the lobby and if you say 3:00 p.m. then mean 3:00 p.m.

I was scare when I arrived, with out knowing what's spect .Everyone starting at from desk ,X-ray tech ,My Dentist, and the account manager treated me with respect and make me feel confident with the treatment I will received. even they have a busy practice your waiting time is 10 min or lest to be seeing . The cost of your treatment and how you can payed is very satisfactory. Thank you
