David Tarrab, DDS has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry inNew Jerseysince 1989. His philosophy is to provide the best possible dental care to his patients in a comfortable and non-threatening way. All of his patients are treated with the utmost respect, regardless of age or special needs. Dr. Tarrab graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 1987. He was rewarded with membership in OKU, a dental honor society, to which an invitation is given to the top students in their class. Dr. Tarrab then completed his Pediatric Specialty Residency training at St Christophers Hospital for Children, Philadelphia in 1989.

As Clinical Associate Professor at NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Tarrab is Director of the Pediatric Dentistry Honors Program. He is very involved in training future Pediatric Dentists. Recently, he was named director of the Pediatric Oral Sedation Program. This also keeps Dr. Tarrab on the cutting edge of dental innovations. Thus, providing your child with the most up-to date of treatment procedures. Dr. Tarrab has been involved extensively in the treatment and care of Special Needs Children throughout his career.

Dr. Nikolaos Gavrilis completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida, receiving a Bachelor Degree in Molecular Biology/Microbiology in 1995. Immediately after, he was accepted at New York University where he received his DDS. This was followed by a two year general residency at Woodhull Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident during his second year. He furthered his studies by accepting a position at the University of Pittsburgh in the Prosthodontics Specialty Department and received his Prosthodontics Speciality Certificate in 2004. His training placed higher emphasis on Implant Surgery and Implant Restoration, and so in 2004 he received Fellow and Diplomate status at the International College of Oral Implantology, an independent organization responsible for accreditation, guidance, and to some degree, regulation in the field of dental implants. Upon completion of his Prosthodontics specialty, he decided he wanted to receive specialty trainings in Endodontics as well, which he also completed at the University of Pittsburgh in 2006. He has been in private practices since receiving his DDS and has been providing specialty care such as root canals and implant surgery in our offices since 2006. He enjoys his position with our company, as he feels he has encountered a wonderful setting which allows him to provide the best possible care to his patients in a care-free environment.

They have new front staff and these group of girls aren't pleasant! I know with running a business you have to enforce new rules but they pick and choose who to apply certain rules too! They cancel my appointment all the time but if i have to reschedule i have to wait months to get another one depending who I talk too they pick and choose. I'm on the phone with the lady while I'm on my way there She told me over the phone no openings until December 20th but when i came in the office, she told a man who was in front of me in line, she had a opening on the Dec 8th. Both interactions took place within the same hour. The staff in the back techs, hygienist, doctors are amazing ! That's why i have been with them for 10 years! I Love the back staff it's the front I feel mistreated by! Let me tell you how I am soooo impressed!!! They did a 360!!! Yesterday 10/28/2022 i had my first appointment since Nov 2021. I said I wasn't going back to then with the headache they been causing me the last 2 years. I was extremely fed up with the office. I've been with them for 10+ years it was almost depressing looking for a new dentist office. So a year later i gave in called and made my appointment. Let me tell you how I am impressed!!! They had new staff in the front Vanessa was pleasant and helpful. My hygienist took my experience with them to an entirely different level!!!, (hands down she's the Best in the game! She got my teeth so clean i thought they were fake! She took her time and did an amazing job! I'm not telling her name because I want her to myself! Don't want her all booked up with y'all lol !!!

My daughters appointment was cancelled die to "not confirming the appointment" that has never happened to my family at any facility if you make the appointment that is your confirmation that you confirm you will be at appt at appointed time! ok so due to new policy we wait for next appt for the next appt months later October 25 and on the 25th you call and cancel and few hours before the appointment! Let not forget the first appt was in July so we waited 3 months to be told the Hygienist would not be in! I have been being my family here before the pandemic we usually get better treatment than that I am not shore what happened?

I've been rescheduled multiple times and pushed out four months. Very slow service when I've gone in the past. I'd recommend you see what other dentist are in your provider.

I had to wait 3 months for an appointment i had coming up for the beginning of October for a cleaning and about a week and a half ago i called to change it to an evaluation because i was down in Florida with a toothache. I got my tooth looked at when i was down there and they had told me i have an unfinished root canal that i should get looked at asap when i get back home. With my appointment already set, i had called to see if i could get in sooner when i got back from vacation and they said it would be best to keep my appointment for the day i was scheduled to go in. Then i get a call last minute that they have to reschedule the appointment and the soonest they said was mid December.... You are responsible for an unfinished root canal that is causing me pain and it's the "best you can do". Sorry but who does that? I'm going somewhere else.

Do not recommend this Dentist office. Had an appointment on 9/22. Upon arrival on time, I had forgotten to wear a mask the front desk clerk send me out to buy a mask and refuse to provide one. Once I got back to the office she had me wait over an hour, when I questioned why the wait after seeing several patients go after me and be done. Her answer was that the insurance had an issue which was a lie. Then when they finally call my name that I go an complete an X-ray that literally took 5 minutes the doctor assumed that I had Medicaid just because I am Hispanic. The doctor never show me what she saw in the X-ray, And send me to another office located and hour away. Overall worst experience I've ever had. Please do not go here, if you do, expect to be racially profiled. Not worth anyones time, super unprofessional. Will definitely file a complaint with the Nj consumers affair

My daughter made an appointment ,she was in alot of pain and she was about 10 minutes late.They told her she was late and they couldn't see her because they scheduled her the wrong dentist and she had to come back the next day to see the oral surgeon.All she needed was pain medicine because 800 mg ibuprofen wasn't working.the receptionist had no compassion and it was an emergency visit that she waited 3 days for

I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early ...7 people went in front of me ..at 3;10 I asked to be rescheduled...I get "oh you haven't been called yet ?". I left ....unbelievable

Surprisingly, I was in and out considering how busy they were. The Lead Assistant, Tiara Fields was very personable and attentive to my needs. The staff are awesome! Dr. Piat was my doctor. She knew what was wrong before I could even tell her. She was very thorough on finding out what was wrong with my grill. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I have some serious concerns regarding your office and how you treat your patients. My husband has several issues with his teeth and needs a lot of work. For his first visit, he was left in the waiting room for 3 hours with no explanation or apology and was finally seen. Then he had another appointment for which he showed up on time and was told he had no appointment. I have an email confirming this appointment and want to know why he was lied to. Then today he went to his appointment and was not treated at all. He was supposed to have a crown put in but it was not done and he has a bad toothache for which he was not helped with any antibiotics or pain medication. To top it all off, he was charged $59 for what, I don't know. The doctor did nothing for him. He was not given any appointment for the crown he is supposed to get. He had the root canal and that was the last service he received. Please tell us what is going on in your office. It is unacceptable to treat patients in this manner.

I just came for my tooth being chipped. My tooth was half composite anyway but the office ladies were very polite and calming. Dr. Piat is INCREDIBLE. She's quiet, but works extremely quickly and knows what she's doing. I didn't feel the needle when she numbed me and her assistant was so polite and kept everything very real with me. Dr. Piat is very good at what she does!

I've been here multiple times and wverytime i come Dr Piat never disappoints! She's awesome , she's so awesome i have Zero complaints . Alongside her Tiara and Shaniqua her assistants always make me feel comfortable, continue to the great work ladies !

The establishment was something I trusted a few years ago. Kind, courteous, efficient, and cared. They always did a great job with my teeth and my family's. BUT until last year or two the customer service, front desk staff, scheduling staff SUCKED. Like absolutely horrible. I don't like writing bad reviews unless warranted and I want to warn others not to go through what I did. This is no exaggeration: I have had my CLEANING rescheduled six times since March 2022. They will make an appointment just to get you out their faces and not make you angrily tell them off. Call you the day before or tell you when you arrive for said appointment, and tell you unfortunately that the hygienist called out sick or that they texted you or thought they called the evening before. I spoke to the manager twice because I called out of work twice just for it to be rescheduled and it's ridiculous. Six times is appalling. Watch out. Stay away! I am currently finding a new dentist office.
