Dr. Darryl Abramson Graduated from dental school in 1984 and has enjoyed a dental career that has been split over two countries. Darryl spent the first 21 years of his career practicing in suburban Johannesburg. In that period he was active as a dentist and in the wider dental community. He spent time as president of the Gauteng branch of the South African Dental Society and was the chairperson of a Study Club in his native hometown. He completed his qualifying exams for the USA and California Board dental exam with the graduating class of USC Dental School (now Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC) in 2001. He relocated to San Diego in 2005 and started practice in the current location in January 2006. Darryl has a wife and three children. His wife Susan is a doctor who works on the ethical side of medical research. Her role is oversight of medical research where human subjects are involved, in order to protect their rights. Darryl's children, Beth, Max and Joe are pursuing their studies. Beth is studying to be a lawyer, Max to be a doctor and Joe is pursuing a major in Ethics, Politics and Economics. Dr. Abramson welcomes the opportunity to be of ethical service to his patients as they pursue their own goals towards healthy, functional and beautiful smiles. Dr. Abramson works hard in continuing education to be up to date with current trends in dentistry, whether they be in oral health or general systemic health.Our exceptional, friendly team is our greatest asset.
