Dr. Trapnell was born and raised in Arizona and loves living in the Southwest. He attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, graduating in 2006, and finished his Orthodontic Residency at Jacksonville University in 2009. He has lived in Albuquerque since 2009 and is a huge fan of New Mexicos weather!
Dr. Trapnell is somewhat of a perfectionist and finds great satisfaction in helping teeth move into exactly the right position for both function and aesthetics. Perhaps even more than that, he loves watching his patients self-confidence increase as their smiles improve with each visit.
He enjoys collaborating with leading orthodontists across the nation to discuss complex treatment, and continually seeks out ways to improve patient care by implementing the most current, effective orthodontic technologies.
Outside the office, Dr. Trapnell loves spending time with his wife and 6 children. Outdoor activities are his favorite; He enjoys riding dirt bikes, hiking, going to the lake, and camping. He also loves listening to and performing all kinds of music, and plays the piano and guitar. He is happiest when he is helping people, and would love to see you in the office.
Dr. Quintin Rupp completed his Bachelors Degree at Brigham YoungUniversity and earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University ofTexas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He went on to obtain hisMasters of Science in Dentistry and Certificate of Orthodontics andDentofacial Orthopedics from The University of Colorado School of DentalMedicine. Upon completion of his graduate studies, Dr. Rupp joined the teamat ABQ Orthodontics.
Dr. Rupp has a passion for his profession, and the changes that orthodonticscan create in peoples lives. He loves getting to know his patients and theirfamilies and seeing their smiling confident faces each day. When he isnt practicing orthodontics, you can find Dr. Rupp enjoying theoutdoors with his wife and three young sons. Together they enjoy hiking,backpacking, hitting the slopes, and fishing.

I love this place everyone is so nice and welcoming, they try to find the right plan and set up fit best for your family and finances and its quick every time! Ive had my braces for about 10 months now and i just go in give them my name and they call me back in a few mins and the session lasts no longer than 35 mins for everything. Although i wish they were a little more communicative with what i still need done and what's happening that day instead of them just doing their thing on their own but i guess thats what they're used to lol. I recommend them so muchh!!

Great staff so friendly. I got my braces off in December and yet they still communicate with me and did follow up to make sure everything's going good with my retainer so happy to have them a part of my beautiful smile

My son recently required braces and we decided upon ABQ orthodontics for our oral healthcare needs. We were referred by our family dentist, Dr. Clark, whom we trust. Our initial appointment was a little concerning because we had no experience with braces. After the consultation, we felt informed and comfortable to be able to make the decision to have my son proceed with the treatment. Thanks again for your kindness and informative environment.

I had my braces put on here and taken off here, i fee confident in my smile again. Friendly staff, incredibly fast service, and they helped guide me through my braces. My brother currently has his braces and he seems to be doing wonderfully. Great service, would recommend.

This place was horrible! I went in for a consultation the front Staff was quiet, didn't really say much just handed me the iPad to sign in. X-ray staff was training and she was very sweet and nice, the girl training her was also nice. The reason I even waNted to type this review was because the male orthodontist was SO RUDE! The whole appointment was him pretty much putting me down for bone loss and how much WORK he has to do more complaining then anything ! How do you except people to want to SPEND money when you make your self sound like that to! I'm trying to fix my teeth regardless of how much it cost but not with someone who doesn't want to do their job and complains. If it's impossible for you then just say that don't make people feel down because you have to work . This isn't even the first time I've have 3 others tell me he was like that but dam. I wouldn't mind spending 8 grand on my teeth that's why I came to you in the first place but nobody wants a orthodontist Who complains just because you have to do more!

My experience has been great, the staff are super friendly and always so kind whenever you come for your appointment's. My journey with Abq is exciting and definitely worth it with my braces I'm so ready to have the teeth that I've been wanting.
