Dr. Trapnell was born and raised in Arizona and loves living in the Southwest. He attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, graduating in 2006, and finished his Orthodontic Residency at Jacksonville University in 2009. He has lived in Albuquerque since 2009 and is a huge fan of New Mexicos weather!
Dr. Trapnell is somewhat of a perfectionist and finds great satisfaction in helping teeth move into exactly the right position for both function and aesthetics. Perhaps even more than that, he loves watching his patients self-confidence increase as their smiles improve with each visit.
He enjoys collaborating with leading orthodontists across the nation to discuss complex treatment, and continually seeks out ways to improve patient care by implementing the most current, effective orthodontic technologies.
Outside the office, Dr. Trapnell loves spending time with his wife and 6 children. Outdoor activities are his favorite; He enjoys riding dirt bikes, hiking, going to the lake, and camping. He also loves listening to and performing all kinds of music, and plays the piano and guitar. He is happiest when he is helping people, and would love to see you in the office.
Dr. Quintin Rupp completed his Bachelors Degree at Brigham YoungUniversity and earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University ofTexas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He went on to obtain hisMasters of Science in Dentistry and Certificate of Orthodontics andDentofacial Orthopedics from The University of Colorado School of DentalMedicine. Upon completion of his graduate studies, Dr. Rupp joined the teamat ABQ Orthodontics.
Dr. Rupp has a passion for his profession, and the changes that orthodonticscan create in peoples lives. He loves getting to know his patients and theirfamilies and seeing their smiling confident faces each day. When he isnt practicing orthodontics, you can find Dr. Rupp enjoying theoutdoors with his wife and three young sons. Together they enjoy hiking,backpacking, hitting the slopes, and fishing.

I couldn't believe it my son's teeth were so bad they were going all directions and now they are all going straight and even he smiles now before he would hide his teeth and never smiled I would recommend this place big time also the workers are so friendly and treat the patients very well I'm glad we went to you

Dr. Trapnell, Dr. Rupp and there amazing team of techs have been here for my kids over the last 8 years. First for my daughter and now my son. Dr. Trapnell has helped them overcome a mess in their mouths. He has saved teeth that would have been broken and chipped away without his advocacy for them. He has been able to foresee problems with my son and help us navigate how to work through surgeries and set his oral health up for a great future. They have been more than fair with the pricing and always here with a smile. I am forever great full for their service to our community.
