My name is Michael Martins, and I am new to the Oregon Coast as of December 2015. I grew up in Canada just outside Toronto. I graduated from Andrews University in Michigan with a bachelors degree in Biology and from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California. I love spending time with my wife, Annalissa, and golden retriever, Mocha; we like to backpack, canoe, travel, and spend time with friends and family. I enjoy helping others through dentistry, and I have had the opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic, Sri Lanka, and Paraguay, where we provided free dentistry to those without access to dental care. I am excited to explore all the great places on the Oregon Coast, and I look forward to meeting and serving the patients at Above Dental!
My name is Craig Johnson and I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I graduated from Walla Walla University in Washington with my bachelors degree and then pursued my dream of dentistry at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California. I choose to become a dentist because I believe in helping people feel 100% and being able to improve a persons quality of life that same day. I enjoy working with people and getting to know their story.
I have been the office manager at Above Dental since 2009. I do my best at keeping the day-to-day operations running smoothly. I love working with talented, compassionate professionals. My favorite parts of my job are meeting new people and catching up with regular patients. It is my personal goal to make each person feel welcomed as part of our dental family. Everyone here is fun, friendly, and down to earth. Dr. Brice, Dr. Martins, Dr. Richardson and Dr. Johnson are wonderful people to work with. I live about an hour away, in Camas Valley, with my husband, near our two grown children and their families. My hobbies are quilting, sewing, crocheting and gardening. My name is Wendy, and Ive been a dental assistant for over 12 years. I am originally from southern California, and I moved to the Oregon Coast and started working at Above Dental in 2011. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my son and my family. We love hiking and all of the other adventures the Oregon coast has to offer. I speak fluent Spanish and I am glad that I can help the Spanish-speaking members of our community receive great dental care. I love being a part of the Above Dental team!
I am Binh, one of the hygienists at Above Dental. I have been in the dental field for 11 years including 4 years as a dental assistant. I started working at Above Dental in 2009 right after school. I moved to North Bend from Seattle, Washington, and I am so glad that I made that decision. I am so happy to find the right place to devote my passion and knowledge. I have settled down and am raising my family in Coos Bay. In my spare time, I enjoy swimming and walking with my boys and taking them to the libraries, beaches, and parks whenever I can. Hello my name is Andrea, Ive been in the dental field for 18 years now. I have always wanted to be a hygienist since high school. My Orthodontist had me clean instruments in his office during the summer before my Sophomore year thats when I caught the dental bug. I started out as an assistant and knew I wanted to further my career after 4 years. I went to OIT for Dental Hygiene. Im from Central Point, but have lived here on the coast for the last 17 years. I have 2 kids a son who is 15 and a daughter who is 4. We enjoy as a family to go camping, fishing and hunting. We love it here on the coast and I cant wait to see you in our office to help you with your dental needs.
