Dr. Candice was born and raised in Seattle before making her way to Middle Tennessee. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Linfield College in McMinnville, OR, where she also played volleyball and lacrosse.
Throughout her career, Dr. Candice has been honored with numerous awards, including the Jack E. Wells outstanding young dentist award, as well as the Dr. Norris Howell Award for outstanding leadership and service.
She's held numerous leadership positions in local organizations such as Clarksville Sunrise Rotary, the Clarksville Triathlon Club, the Customs House Museum guild, and is a graduate of the Leadership Clarksville.

I really appreciate this place. My kids were having some discomfort with their braces. I walked in with both of them...no appointment and they were kind enough to see them both. Dr. Shawn is always helpful and pleasant. Thank you guys again!!

I am pleased with the process so far. Candice was really helpful at explaining to my son about what he needs to do from start-to-finish. I am really grateful for the price point as well as I thought it would be more expensive than it was.

Dr. Shawn and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Very fast appointment times .I had expected a wait time of 2-3weeks for an appointment because of covid. It was such a pleasant surprise to get one in 2 days!!!We were also having trouble with our insurance and they did everything they possibly could to help us through the process. The down payment for the braces is so much more affordable than other orthodontist I have met. We couldn't be happier and my daughter got the braces she wanted.

Overall this an exception orthodontic team. The ladies that work there always maintain a positive attitude and will do whatever they can to make sue you or your child are feeling comfortable and confident with braces or invisalign. The AFAB team goes above and beyond to maintain positive relationships with their patients and families! Dr. Candice is a highlight to the office. She always has a smile on her face which makes patients feel at ease. I would highly recommend getting ortho care from this awesome place!

This was the worst experience of my life! The constant trips back and forth to their office for EXTREMELY OVER PRICED SERVICE was Excruciating! These types of Metal braces that can Permanently ruined the surface of your teeth with stains will soon be obsolete with all the different alternatives that a becoming available. Had a done my research I would've chosen a process much easier and less stressful then traditional braces. My child's teeth have been ruined with white stains and we've had to drive countless times to and from their office.

Dr. Shawn & the entire Springfield team is amazing!! While we've never visited the Clarksville office, we have seen Dr. Candace numerous times & she is also very kind & attentive. They are honest & provide the treatment necessary to ensure a straight smile (which is not just for cosmetic purposes but essential for proper dental health for life). Would highly recommend!!

Dr. Shawn is a stellar orthodontist and just an overall fantastic person! His staff are all friendly and on top of their game. He has treated my son for two years now and at every single appointment he genuinely cares and wants to know what's going on in my son's life...from sports, to girls, to grades and everything in between!!!
