Dr. Curtis L. Abigail is an orthodontic specialist who practices in both the heart of Bethesda, MDand Arlington, VA. Hes committed to providing leading-edge careto ensurepatients achieve their most beautifully healthy smile: efficiently, comfortably, and affordably.

Dr. Abigail has been a Bethesda local since 1979. He completed his undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Maryland-College Park in 1989, and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Howard University in 1993.He served a general practice residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Staying current on new technologies and methodologies in orthodontics is important to Dr. Abigail. He attends continuing education events throughout the year and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Middle-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists. He is also a Preferred Provider of the Invisalign method of straightening teeth, which usesclear aligners.

Dr. Abigail feels a strong commitment to give back to a community that benefited him so well when he wasa child. He is active in the educational community: hesponsorslocal area schools and supportsthem through fundraising efforts bytheir students.
