My name is Dr. Andrew E. Abide, Jr., and I am a board eligible endodontist striving to provide the best endodontic care possible with a compassionate attitude. I am also committed to maintaining a technologically advanced practice offering the best in modern endodontic treatment modalities.
I am originally from Greenville, MS. After graduating from Mississippi State University, I decided to follow in my fathers footsteps and join the dental profession. I graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in 2007. After completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, I worked as an associate dentist in Wilmington, NC. It was there that I decided to further my education by accepting an endodontic residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, LA. During that time, I was trained in the most current initial treatment, retreatment and microsurgical endodontic techniques. I was also selected to perform the initial testing for DS Dentals Control-Memory Wire, which is now used by several manufacturers in their nickel titanium files, and I presented that research at the AAE annual meeting. It was with great pride that I opened my endodontic practice in Southaven the fall of 2013.
In 2010, I married Marion Weeks of Drew, MS. InJanuary 2013 we were blessed by the birth of our first child, Elias and in 2017, our daughter, Vivian, was born.Our family has been thrilled with the warm welcome and hospitality that has been shown to us since our move and have enjoyed becoming active participants in the local community.

Wanted to charge $3000.00 before my wife was seen for one tooth and didn't know if anything was wrong. Then when we said. " its to much and we are not paying the 140.00 visit because she wasn't seen by anyone, one lady said, "yes you have too pay" I said, "no we are not paying anything ". Then another lady that works there said she doesn't have to pay anything because she didn't see anyone. What a rip off, want be back, these people should be put out of business. They don't post the bad reviews just the good ones.

I chose here because of the good reviews and it was the best choice ever.Dr Abid did root canal on me and I didn't feel any hurt or uncomfortable during the procedure. It was very very friendly environment also. Definitely recommend. Thank you so much Dr Abid and his entire staff team

What a great group! David is an absolute doll, Donnah is a rock star and the dental assistants are amazing! Dr. Abide was super attentive to my needs and went out of his way to make sure I was ok. The quality of service was above and beyond the expectations.

I must say that that my experience at Abide was a wonderful one. Although I was there for a root canal, they made sure that I was comfortable. I had no discomfort during the procedure. I had to travel a 2 hour drive from Houston, MS... If I need their service in the future, I will go back. I would recommend them to anyone!

Was horrified walking in...was convinced there must be more to it walking out! Every individual in that office was extremely kind and courteous...did a wonderful job of easing my anxious mind and was over before i knew it...literally...thank you Abide Endodonntics...

In 2019 Dr David Abide did a root canal on me and today, March 2022, he did root canal on 2 of my teeth. I have anxiet about dental work and this Dr is amazing!!! The shots barely hurt and he makes sure you are numb before he does any work. I HIGHLY recommend Abide Endodontics!! Thank you, Dr David Abide for the best patient care!!

I had the best experience with Abide Endodontics. I was referred by my dentist for a root canal. The office staff was friendly, helpful, quick; and the office is so clean. The dental assistant was fabulous. They got me in and out without any problems. I will not go anywhere else for Endodontic help.

Everyone was so nice and comforting. My doctor was very thorough with the information and explained everything he was going to do to my tooth. He made sure that I felt ok and will ask a few times.The staff is amazing and conversed with me and played light music to help me feel relaxed. Overall, the visit was amazing!!

Today was my second time. I don't normally write reviews. But I got time today. The atmosphere is wonderful, the people are very respectful. Both of the times I left, I felt like I was taken care of, without a doubt. I would recommend my whole family....

Dr Abide is very professional and knowledgeable of his work. He takes his time and explains in detail on what problems he finds. He will answer all questions you have. He makes you feel comfortable during your procedure and is very gentle. You can relax and know you will be handled with the upmost care.

Dr. Abide and his entire staff was great. The front desk team inform you before treatment your estimated pay. Most offices will do a consult and send you on your way but Dr. Abide got right to work which I'm very thankful of. The procedure did not hurt and they informed me on the steps they were taking along the way. I appreciate them.
