TARYN gave me the BEST cleaning ever & was very nice to work with! DR DIMAGGIO took his time, reviewed everything, & gave me very helpful information on my teeth.. He is always wonderful to work with! ALL the staff is great! LUCIA is always aiming to please & does a wonderful job! 5 stars June 19th 2022, TARYN gave me a great cleaning, very friendly to work with...however VERY disappointing that I waited 1/2 hour to see dr DiMaggio & he NEVER came in the room. I make this appointment 6 months in advance. Now, I have to go back! 1 star! Aug 8th 2022 went back for my checkup, but Dr G wasn't even there! They scheduled me with Dr Z who is not my Dr. NOW, I have to reschedule, for a THIRD time, to see my Dr! Oct 5th, 2022 finally saw Dr D. Worth the wait. He is my Dr, I trust him & he did THE BEST WORK on my mouth today. I will always see Dr G! 5**** Oct 19th BEST WORK! DR D finished the work on my tooth & I couldn't be happier. perfect work, GREAT dr & GREAT staff..5***** I've never had bad work from Aberdeen Family Dental. Oct 26th 2022 Dr D did a wonderful job on my tooth & Casey was just amazing. Couldn't be happier 5*****

Communication between employees and patients can be better. I wasn't told my appointment was only a consultation until the day of. I was prepared to get a tooth removed and took the day after off and everything.

A 99yr old patient going for many yrs to this dentist was waiting 1hr to see Zimness which is way too long for any patient to have to wait. Then waiting to have teeth clean almost an hr and still waiting so I informed them I'm not waiting anymore in this office especially for an 99yr old in a wheelchair. That is very inconsicerate, not professional and terrible for anyone to have to wait that long when you have an apt. Purpose of apt.??? Then office sent letter since we left they request we go to another dentist. This is terrible to treat anyone like that. I would not recommend going to this dentist at all. NO STARS FOR THEM BUT I WAS FORCED TO PUT ONE OR NO REVIEW WOULD POST.

Made me wait over an hour and a half past my appointment time. Staff was rude. Money grubbers trying to force most expensive services with no real care

I've been coming to Aberdeen Family Dental for about 5 years now. Dr. DiMaggio is amazing, and most of the staff is great too. In the last couple weeks, I have had a few appointments scheduled. One for a re-treat on a root canal with the endodontist that was in-office. And another for a cleaning. My husband also had a cleaning scheduled. All THREE visits, our appointment time was changed WITHOUT our knowledge. And when we got the calls to confirm, they lady on the phone was calling to confirm appointment times that WE DIDNT SCHEDULE or AGREE TO. I understand appointments need to be rearranged for certain circumstances. But never once have I ever had a problem in any medical facility where they just change the appointment without asking their patients first. This has happened 3 times now. If you need a dentist office that is loyal to their patients and will call you if they need to make changes to your scheduled visits, DO NOT GO HERE.

Everyone in the office is friendly, nice and professional at the same time The Endodontics that did my root canal was so nice and got it done quickly. His Assist was great! The stories she was telling were so funny and she was so sweet.

This place is very unprofessional no hospitality and very dirty they just want your money nobody can do a correct job I went for fillings they cracked within 3 days everybody is very rude in the office they do not explain nothing to you they just want that money or check up front they will schedule you 3 months and give you 10 antibiotics if you have a toothache which is very bad that is a long time to wait and pay a lot of money. you will have a hard time at this place. Ask your insurance company for a different dentist. I spent a lot of money here and I'm starting back at scratch. Thank you for all the hassle and Horror Aberdeen family dental

I had the most horrific experience there. I have never seen a dentist so rude. I was flabbergasted by his rudeness and lack of manners. He refused to give my daughter a cleaning because I declined X-rays and he was so aggressive and rude. I understand that X-rays bring in money to the office but to refuse a cleaning with out X-rays is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. I'm sure there are other more polite ways to get your point across to a loyal patient than being dismissive and rude. "Well you can just leave because we're not doing a cleaning with out X-rays" I explained that number 1, I was well with in my right to decline X-rays as we are just coming in for a cleaning with no complaints or pain and 2, we just had X-rays at our previous dentist at the last cleaning. After waiting another half hour and the other dentist confirmed we in fact just had X-rays at the last cleaning, they still made us wait without a cleaning until the X-rays arrived. They're unbelievable. I still can't get over how they wasted our time and money as we purchased a dental plan for the family from them. They not only lost my entire family, I will make sure everyone I've referred leaves too. It's a real shame because the front desk is really nice. I can't imagine how poorly they must be treated by the doctor.

I needed a root canal and Aberdeen Family Dental referred me to Hazlet Family Dental because they did not have an Endodontist on site. Three times Hazlet canceled on me, the day off mind you. Frustrated, I called Aberdeen asking for a new referral. This time when I called, they hired a new Endodontist and they squeezed me in knowing the situation. Within 4 weeks, my root canal was completed! I was very happy with the service and appreciated them fitting me in after a horrible experience at Hazlet's location.

I usually don't write reviews but I feel the owner should know their customers' experiences. Ever since I moved to this neighborhood almost 6 years ago, my husband and I have been coming to this dental office. Before COVID hit, I never have any real complaints besides having to wait 20-40 minutes and not feeling any personal connection with the hygienist, dentist or front desk personnel. After COVID hit, I had 2 really bad experiences with my appointments. The first bad experience I had was 6 months ago during the routine cleaning. The hygienist cut my gum with the scraper and I was bleeding. The suction must've been placed in the wrong spot because I had bloody saliva spattered on my face and eyes. At one point I literally pause the cleaning because I was choking and coughing. I didn't even know who the hygienist was because everyone had to wear a mask at all time due to COVID. I felt she was new and inexperienced. I was upset but didn't know who to complain to because there were no dentist to even see me. I also dislike giving people a hard time so I just left the office. When the survey was sent to me, I was able to express my general frustration and dissatisfaction. The second time I had a bad experience was yesterday 3/2/22. Again I was kept waiting 30 minutes before I was called in. Again I don't know which hygienist or dentist assigned to me. There's always different one each time I come for a cleaning. That's why I don't feel a connection to the people who are taking care of me. The hygienist was a little rough and seems to be rushing and as a result my gums felt bruised. She did a good job suctioning so I didn't cough or have saliva spattered on my face like last time. When I got home I examined my mouth because I was feeling pain. What I saw made me really upset. There were at 4 teeth that still have the plaque and tartar. I see dark tartar in between the teeth. I felt disappointed and frustrated that she didn't look thoroughly to make sure she didn't miss any spot. This is the first time ever that my teeth still looks dirty after a cleaning. I'm frustrated enough to say that I am planning to switch dentist office from now on. I hate having to search for a new office and start all over again.
