Dr. Knopf was born and raised in Bellevue. After graduating from Newport High School, he earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington. In 1996, he and his wife Kim moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where Dr. Knopf attended dental school.
Dr. Knopf spends considerable time learning and perfecting the latest techniques in dentistry. He thrives on learning new treatments. Dr. Knopf participates in monthly Study Club sessions with other dentists in the area to discuss various aspects of dentistry. The interaction with his peers is an integral part of his practice.
Dr. Knopf is also an avid fisherman and enjoys weekend getaways to a quiet place where he can float down a river with line in hand. He also enjoys participating in his neighborhoods monthly BBQ smoke-offs. In the fall and winter, youre likely to find Dr. Knopf at Husky Stadium on game-day supporting the Dawgs.
John has been with the practice since it opened in 2003. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the practice as well as handling all patient issues involving scheduling, financial planning, treatment coordination, and insurance administration.
He also brings to our team over 8 years of Customer Service & Management experience from two large wireless telecommunication companies. Before joining the high-tech industry, John worked for more than 9 years as a Pharmacy Technician.
Prior to joining the Abella Dental team Jamie had been an assistant at another office for 3 years. Wanting to expand her dental knowledge and build her skills in a high tech practice, she joined Abella Dental.
