Dr. Abdoney is pleased to welcome you to Abdoney Orthodontics, and looks forward to helping you achieve your goal of a beautiful, healthy smile. Born and raised in Tampa, Dr. Abdoney is proud to serve the city in which he grew up, and the surrounding Tampa Bay area. As an orthodontist, Dr. Abdoney is extremely professional and caring. He enjoys his work, and even after 15 years of practicing orthodontics, Dr. Abdoney still enjoys seeing how something as simple as a smile can improve a persons self-esteem and confidence.
The only way to continue advancing in the practice of orthodontics, is to participate in continuing education. Dr. Abdoney maintains memberships with several professional dental and orthodontic organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. He was appointed to the Florida Board of Dentistry by the previous governor, Jeb Bush.
Dr. Abdoney stays smiling even outside of the practice. When hes not at the practice, Dr. Abdoney enjoys spending time with his family (wife, Debbie and two daughters, Ellie and Emily). He also likes to visit the beach, go fishing, play tennis, work out to stay in shape, and spend as much time as possible outdoors. In addition to enjoying practicing orthodontics, Dr. Abdoney also likes to cook, and he is a certified Eagle Scout.
Dr. Hanna is excited to personally meet you and your family at your next visit in Wesley Chapel. You will not miss her with her big smile and bubbly personality. Dr. Hanna has extensive dental knowledge from her training at Harvard University and University of Florida. In addition to Dr. Hannas passion for creating beautiful smiles, she thoroughly enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients. She is blessed to be able to meet so many wonderful people and work with an amazing staff. Together, we make you smile!
Dr. Katz is thrilled to be a part of the Abdoney Orthodontic team and looks forward to meeting you! Originally from Ohio, Dr. Katz is excited to once again call Florida home as he did his orthodontic residency at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale.
Prior to becoming a Board Certified Orthodontist, Dr. Katz practiced as a general dentist for several years. While in private practice he found his true passion for orthodontics. Dr. Katz treats his patients through the lens of both a general dentist and orthodontist: focusing on the full scope of oral health care.
When not at the office, Dr. Katz enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is an avid sports fan, and a die hard Ohio State Buckeye. Dr. Katz enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and is looking forward to experiencing all that Tampa has to offer! He recently started playing golf, although that is very much a work in progress! Dr. Katz welcomes new patients and looks forward to treating all of your familys orthodontic needs.

I had my first experience at Abdoney Orthopedics last week... The staff was phenomenal and very informative - very upbeat, atmosphere was clean, coffee was great and really enjoyed my visit. I can't wait to go back today!!

I am a dental hygiene student and I am going on a humanitarian trip to Jamaica. I had stopped in to ask for any donations for us to provide services for the ones in need. They selflessly gave me and my other classmates so many boxes of tooth paste, floss etc. This business is not just here for the money, they genuinely care about their patients and truly care about helping others. The staff were absolutely kind. I am not a patient there, however I am moved by how giving they were. As they truly have passion for what they do. Thank you!

Id highly recommend Abdoney orthodontics to anyone that needs ortho treatment. Dr.Hannah and other staff are very helpful and kind. I'm nearly done with a year and a half treatment and have not once walked out of the office without my questions being answered, each appointment receiving the same care.

Bad outweighs the good here at Abdoney Orthodontics. I visited this practice earlier this year and was really looking forward to the treatment based on all the positive reviews. Once I arrived I was greeted by very unprofessional staff who were in fact training new reception staff. Very bad look in my opinion. I left a bad review at the time and I now see it was contested and taken down. Tisk tisk.. I now see why they have such a high rating - they contest any negative reviews. This seems unethical. Avoid this place if you want service with a smile (no pun intended).

Wow, we never received so many unwanted text messages and calls from any practice before. We were never their patients and unsubscribed from all communication methods multiple times within last few weeks and still receiving their garbage notifications via texts and emails. Very annoying.

Got my braces on July 21st 2020 and just had then removed on July 16th 2022! My teeth look great!! My location also offers free whitening services after braces which is such a life saver!

The staff is great and so was Dr. Elliot. I am rating them low however because they knew my insurance wouldn't cover but told me there's a chance it may just to get me in the door. Great business move but a waste of time! But if ur insurance covers, I would recommend them. Janessa was EXCELLENT!
