Dr. Abdoney is pleased to welcome you to Abdoney Orthodontics, and looks forward to helping you achieve your goal of a beautiful, healthy smile. Born and raised in Tampa, Dr. Abdoney is proud to serve the city in which he grew up, and the surrounding Tampa Bay area. As an orthodontist, Dr. Abdoney is extremely professional and caring. He enjoys his work, and even after 15 years of practicing orthodontics, Dr. Abdoney still enjoys seeing how something as simple as a smile can improve a persons self-esteem and confidence.
The only way to continue advancing in the practice of orthodontics, is to participate in continuing education. Dr. Abdoney maintains memberships with several professional dental and orthodontic organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. He was appointed to the Florida Board of Dentistry by the previous governor, Jeb Bush.
Dr. Abdoney stays smiling even outside of the practice. When hes not at the practice, Dr. Abdoney enjoys spending time with his family (wife, Debbie and two daughters, Ellie and Emily). He also likes to visit the beach, go fishing, play tennis, work out to stay in shape, and spend as much time as possible outdoors. In addition to enjoying practicing orthodontics, Dr. Abdoney also likes to cook, and he is a certified Eagle Scout.
Dr. Hanna is excited to personally meet you and your family at your next visit in Wesley Chapel. You will not miss her with her big smile and bubbly personality. Dr. Hanna has extensive dental knowledge from her training at Harvard University and University of Florida. In addition to Dr. Hannas passion for creating beautiful smiles, she thoroughly enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients. She is blessed to be able to meet so many wonderful people and work with an amazing staff. Together, we make you smile!
Dr. Katz is thrilled to be a part of the Abdoney Orthodontic team and looks forward to meeting you! Originally from Ohio, Dr. Katz is excited to once again call Florida home as he did his orthodontic residency at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale.
Prior to becoming a Board Certified Orthodontist, Dr. Katz practiced as a general dentist for several years. While in private practice he found his true passion for orthodontics. Dr. Katz treats his patients through the lens of both a general dentist and orthodontist: focusing on the full scope of oral health care.
When not at the office, Dr. Katz enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is an avid sports fan, and a die hard Ohio State Buckeye. Dr. Katz enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and is looking forward to experiencing all that Tampa has to offer! He recently started playing golf, although that is very much a work in progress! Dr. Katz welcomes new patients and looks forward to treating all of your familys orthodontic needs.

The staff and environment here at Abdoney are wonderful! We're always greeted with a warm, family welcome. The orthodontists and technicians are very thorough in explaining procedures, processes, and expectations. One of my two teens seen here recently had braces removed and the results are incredible! I'm excited to see the results of my other teen, whose journey began in a more severe state. Thank you, Abdoney, for the wonderful experience and for taking such great care of my children!

We had a great experience with Dr. Abdoney and his office. Appointments were easy to schedule, we were in and out quickly, everyone is very nice and accommodating. He promised her he would have the braces off in 16 months and he was right. Very happy with the results!

I came here about April of 2021 and I have to say, my treatment has been amazing! Katie gave me my consultation and she's awesome. Everyone at Abdoney has an excellent bedside manner and they're all super sweet. I especially want to shout out Anna. She's worked with me several times and, because we have the same name, we're practically besties. The treatment itself has been really smooth and easy. Just make sure you wear your bands

Great place and even greater staff. They answered all my questions about my Invisalign treatment, and always made sure I was on track. From my first appointment to my last visit, the care and warmth I received there was incomparable to any other orthodontist in Tampa

Listen up, y'all... if you are looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and friendly office atmosphere and an amazing staff - from techs to orthodontists - this is your place! I spoke with several orthodontists to get quotes, timelines, and plans of action. I knew I would be going with Abdoney Orthodontics from the minute I stepped in and at least three ladies behind the desk welcomed me in such a way that made me feel like I was already a seasoned patient. They take the time to answer all your questions (we even Googled one to try and debunk it!). One daughter currently has braces through Abdoney and the second one will be starting this fall. Could not be happier with my results and my experience!

I absolutely love this team! I had an unfortunate experience with invisaligns with another group. I called Abdoney and they helped me fix all the issues my teeth had. I loved all the staff. They were so nice, gentle, and made me feel comfortable. My teeth look amazing and prefect.

I have nothing but great things to say about this facility especially their staff they have always treated me and my little one who always had to tag along with me every visit with so much care and patience.I've been a patient's here for a-little over a year and recently got my braces removed and my smile which was my biggest insecurity is perfect now .Thank you Abdoney orthodontics and staff y'all are absolutely amazing !!!

Dear Dr. Michael and Dr John...want to bring into your attention...today it was second instance that my son would have suffered due to some of your staff negligence...first time one of staff member instructed us to do double turns of expander than the supposed number of turns...my son was so much of pain on 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th day of turns...we forgot that instance with time...now we noticed that the Dental Orthodontic Separator was left behind on one side...it was there for last 3-4 months and serious infection/consequences would have happened...this is really not acceptable that due to some of your staff incompetence...patient have to suffer. Please look into this seriously.

I started my journey with Abdoney Ortho in 2020. I have had the greatest experience. The staff is friendly and understanding in every office. They take great care of your teeth and are always there to answer the many questions I have. I will always recommend them to anyone that wants to improve their smile.
