Born and raised in Tampa, Dr. Abdoney is proud to serve the city in which he grew up, and the surrounding Tampa Bay area. As an orthodontist, Dr. Abdoney is extremely professional and caring. He enjoys his work, and even after 15 years of practicing orthodontics, Dr. Abdoney still enjoys seeing how something as simple as a smile can improve a persons self-esteem and confidence.
The only way to continue advancing in the practice of orthodontics, is to participate in continuing education. Dr. Abdoney maintains memberships with several professional dental and orthodontic organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. He was appointed to the Florida Board of Dentistry by the previous governor, Jeb Bush.
Dr. Abdoney stays smiling even outside of the practice. When hes not at the practice, Dr. Abdoney enjoys spending time with his family (wife, Debbie and two daughters, Ellie and Emily). He also likes to visit the beach, go fishing, play tennis, work out to stay in shape, and spend as much time as possible outdoors. In addition to enjoying practicing orthodontics, Dr. Abdoney also likes to cook, and he is a certified Eagle Scout.
Dr. Hanna is excited to personally meet you and your family at your next visit in Wesley Chapel. You will not miss her with her big smile and bubbly personality. Dr. Hanna has extensive dental knowledge from her training at Harvard University and University of Florida. In addition to Dr. Hannas passion for creating beautiful smiles, she thoroughly enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients. She is blessed to be able to meet so many wonderful people and work with an amazing staff. Together, we make you smile!
Dr. Katz is thrilled to be a part of the Abdoney Orthodontic team and looks forward to meeting you! Originally from Ohio, Dr. Katz is excited to once again call Florida home as he did his orthodontic residency at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale.
Prior to becoming a Board Certified Orthodontist, Dr. Katz practiced as a general dentist for several years. While in private practice he found his true passion for orthodontics. Dr. Katz treats his patients through the lens of both a general dentist and orthodontist: focusing on the full scope of oral health care.
When not at the office, Dr. Katz enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is an avid sports fan, and a die hard Ohio State Buckeye. Dr. Katz enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and is looking forward to experiencing all that Tampa has to offer! He recently started playing golf, although that is very much a work in progress! Dr. Katz welcomes new patients and looks forward to treating all of your familys orthodontic needs.

Dr Abdoney and his staff are amazing ! Professional, pleasant and appts are always right on schedule . Very efficient office staff who is accommodating as well. Highly recommend Dr Abdoney , he is very knowledgeable and you are guaranteed to have a beautiful smile upon completion of treatment ! Two of my children were patients here and we are very happy with the results.

Dr Abdoney is great! He is meticulous and pays attention to detail. My daughter's teeth turn out great. All his staff is wonderful and very friendly. The office is well run. It's relatively easy to get an appointment after school.

I have been going to Dr. Abdoney's for over a year now and I HIGHLY recommend coming here. The staff and service is absolutely superb! I recently forgot my retainers while traveling for 3 weeks and was able to get braces free of charge for about 3-4 months due to my retainers no longer fitting and just having removed my braces. Amanda is AMAZING and was able to put on my braces in less than 30mns. The staff was very supportive and knowledgeable. You won't regret choosing this office!

Dr. Abdoney did my own braces in the early 2000s, and now two of my kids and my husband have all been treated there recently too. The entire office staff are complete pros, and I have complete confidence in the treatment that Dr. Abdoney and team recommends. Every visit is friendly and efficient. Office is always clean and inviting. The siblings love the video game stop while the other is treated. One more kid and set of braces to go, and I wouldn't send her anywhere else.

I have been here for around four years and have received expert care. The staff were very kind and helpful, and answered any inquires I had. The whole process was clearly laid out. I would recommend Abdoney to everyone who needs teeth correction! I went from crooked lines of teeth to beautiful, straight pearly whites. My parents and my siblings have used Abdoney so far, and we have no regrets. Their free shirts are a bonus. I would give Abdoney five stars over and over again.

DO NOT go to this practice or if you decided to go there for initial consultation, DO NOT provide your cell phone number or email because you will be FLOODED and I mean it, FLOODED, with their communication texts and emails even if you are not their patient. I unsubscribed from text messages 3 times and still getting their garbage. Same with emails. Enough is enough. We never even been with this practice. In fact, we had one single consultation with the previous practice owner years ago before practice even changed name and informed office back then we decided not to proceed with them.

The staff are friendly, communicative and were great with our daughter. The managed expectations well and she actually got her braces off a month early. The app they use to allow kids to collect points and rewards was helpful and kept my daughter doing the right things to help the process. Great job

The staff is very friendly. I went in to have my retainer glued and the service was quick. I ended up having an issue afterwards that the staff was able to resolve in a timely manner.

I had my first visit today and everyone was super sweet and friendly, making the environment very welcoming. I can't wait to continue my visits at Abdoney! :) Edit: Today I finish my treatment with Abdoney and I couldn't say more great things about my experience. I definitely recommend to anyone needing treatment. My teeth have improved significantly and I couldn't be happier.
