My career started in 2001, when I received my bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University. I worked in general dentistry for 19 years, and, having a passion for learning and growing, I earned my masters degree in Dental Hygiene Education in 2015. Throughout my career I have had many leadership opportunities and, in 2016, transitioned from practicing dental hygiene to office management. In the spirit of learning and growing, in 2020 I made a slight career change and joined ABC Orthodontics! I love working with a doctor and team who genuinely care about people and who ARE good people. We all love that we make a difference in peoples lives!
Family is important to me. My husband Sean and I have three children and three beautiful grandbabies; my absolute favorite thing in the world is spending time with them! I love animals, too, and have a German Shepherd, Piper, and a desert tortoise, Timmy. In my free hours, I enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling.
I am happily married with two children. I love family time, especially when were doing outdoor activities, watching movies, bowling, and watching baseball. I also enjoy watching my children with their sports and volunteering for their school activities.
I attended dental assisting school in Monterey, California, and started working in general dentistry in 2004. In 2008, I transitioned into orthodontics and found my professional home at ABC Orthodontics in 2021. Dr. Milliner is an incredible orthodontist and, along with all our team, we have fun while providing the best experience for our patients! Im lucky, because I get to meet people as they are starting with us, guiding them through all aspects of the New Patient process from check-in until their braces are on. I love working with our patients and being with them through their journey to a beautiful smile!
My husband and I have two crazy, beautiful daughters. We are a proud Navy family that has finally settled here in Yuma after 14 years of moving around the country and living abroad. I grew up in Monterey, California, and am finding a new love for the southwest desert. My family loves camping and exploring the desert during the winter and enjoying the Colorado River in the summertime.
I am new to ABC Orthodontics, having been welcomed to the team in 2020, and enjoy everything about my days. I take calls, help patients with scheduling, and make sure things are running smoothly. I love working with a great team and being part of a family-friendly environment. It is so rewarding to meet and get to know our patients, and see the transformations of smiles!
I am a military spouse, mom of two daughters, and pet mom to two cats and an Aussie; yes, our life is an adventure! We recently moved to Yuma and are enjoying the tight-knit community. My family loves learning about different cultures, trying new food from other countries, and getting to know diverse histories and traditions. My favorite hobby is snorkeling. Being in the water is the best feeling: its like being in a different world!
My career as a dental assistant began in general dentistry, but I found orthodontics to be my true passion! Here at ABC Orthodontics, I run our back office and make sure everything runs smoothly. This includes assisting with patients, taking X-rays, 3D printing to make aligners and retainers, ordering supplies, inventory, and maintenance on equipment. Above all else, I work hard to give our patients the best customer service possible and love seeing the smiles on their faces!
I was born and raised in Yuma and left to attend ASU. I recently moved back to Yuma from San Francisco with my husband and two dogs to be near my mom. While in California, I earned my brown belt in Shotokan Karate and competed. In my off time, I enjoy hiking, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba.
I attended Phoenix Dental Assistant School in Mesaand joined ABC in 2017. As an orthodontic assistant, I work with Dr. Milliner to ensure a successful treatment result for our patients. My favorite part of my job is seeing the transition of our patients teeth. I love to see how their confidence grows as they become more comfortable smiling and not hiding their teeth. Our office is my home away from home; we all get along so well, which makes us a truly great team.
I am married to a wonderful man, Jorge, and we have two beautiful kids, Kenia and Christopher. We love going out to the park along with our two Huskies, Bongo and Katana. Family time is very important for us, so we always find something fun to do during the weekends; bowling and walks in the park are our favorite!
I started working in general dentistry in El Paso, Texas in 2014, then moved back to Yuma and worked at a different orthodontic practice for several years. August 2020 found me joining ABC Orthodontics and I couldnt be happier! Dr. Milliner and the entire staff have been great since day one, and they extend that same warmth and helpfulness to our patients! I provide chairside assistance to Dr. Milliner, adjust patients braces, and educate patients about how to care for their oral health. I enjoy the appreciation of our patients and watching smiles transform!
I graduated from Phoenix Dental Assistant School and was fortunate enough to complete my externship right here at ABC! As an official part of the team now, I am in charge of making and delivering high quality aligners and retainers and ensuring their proper fit. I am also in charge of sterilizing our instruments and making sure our operatories and lab are clean. The best part of my job is being involved in our patients orthodontic process every step of the way. Most importantly, their final step where they get their braces off and I am able to see their new smiles and deliver their retainers and home instructions. I love being a part of our patients perfect smiles!
I am part of a big family where there is always something going on to keep us busy. We have four dogs, one cat, a turtle, a water frog, and a few fish. When I have time, I enjoy going hiking and traveling.
