Dr. Abbett graduated from Ashland High School in Ashland, Oregon. She began her dental career at the age of 17 as a Dental Assistant for a local dentist. She continued working as an assistant for 13 years while doing her undergraduate studies at San Diego State University, and received her Bachelor and Doctorate in Dental Science from the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Abbett has practiced dentistry in Medford since 1992. She loves living in the Rogue Valley, and giving back to the community including the Southern Oregon Humane Society where she served as Board President, the Childrens Dental Clinic, Donated Dental, and the Oregon Mission of Mercy (MOM).
Continuing education is a top priority of Dr. Abbetts. She attends dental workshops and seminars throughout the year. Her focus is through Spear Education in Scottsdale, AZ, where she also mentors other dentists.
Dr. Millers introduction into dentistry was as a Dental Assistant. He spent five years in a Periodontal Specialist Practice and immediately became fascinated with all the aspects of surgical dentistry. This led him to secure his Doctorate in Dental Science from Marquette University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin followed by a surgical residency at the University of Nebraska. Specializing in full-mouth reconstruction and rehabilitation, Dr. Miller has found great joy in delivering the many aspects of dentistry and giving patients functional, beautiful smiles.
Dr. Miller is excited to be a part of Abbett & Associates. He feels fortunate to be with a great teamreputed to be one of the best in the Rogue Valley. His philosophy as a dentist is to treat everyone like theyre family, to follow the golden rule and to always respect others.

Brenda has had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Abbett for the past 14 years of her 34 years in the dental field. Her goal is helping patients have the most positive experience possible when they come to the office.
Courtney has lived in the Rogue Valley all her life. In fact, Dr. Abbett has been her dentist since she was a young. So when she saw a position opened at Abbett &Associates she jumped at the chance to work with her. Although Courtney is new to dentistry, she has been working in the medical field within pharmacy for the last 7 years.
Courtney is blessed with a 7-year old and a 1-year old. She is engage to be married and excited for what will come. Family means a lot to her and spending time with them is her favorite thing. She understands how important caring for the whole family is when it comes to dentistry and is devoted to serving patients.
Jeff is a Southern Oregon native who grew up in Klamath Falls. He attended Oregon State University and Southern Oregon State College earning a BS degree in Business Administration. He worked as a manager for 3 years before returning to school at Oregon Institute of Technology where he earned a second BS degree in Dental Hygiene. He has enjoyed the detailed work as a Hygienist since 1998. Prior to Dr Abbetts office Jeff worked for the last 10 years in Yreka, California.
Outside of work, Jeffs main focus is his family, Amy his wife, his children AJ and Katelynn and their 2 dogs. They enjoy many outdoor activities together such as hunting, fishing, shooting and various sports. He also enjoys reloading, fly tying and model making.
Jessica has worked chairside with Dr. Abbett since 2011. She loves getting to know and help our patients. She also takes a lot of pride in her work and really enjoys assisting in seeing patients attain a healthy beautiful smile.
Katie is one of our hygienists. She completed her Bachelors Degree at SOU, and then attended Oregon Institute of Technology where she completed her degree in dental hygiene. She has been practicing dental hygiene for 15 years and started at Abbett & Associates in 2005. She took a 3-year hiatus after the birth of her third child. We were thrilled when she returned to our office in 2017.
When Laura returned to Southern Oregon from Alaska 6 years ago, she was introduced to dentistry working with an implant specialist. In addition to dentistry, Laura has many diverse interests and talents including painting in acrylic and water color, crafting home dcor, and baking specialty cakes. Laura also has serious online and digital skills, and is a social media whiz.
Nicole graduated from Pacific University in 2011 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and strives to make them feel comfortable while visiting our office.
