I went for an orthopedic consultation and felt overwhelmed and not very supported. The information was so much to digest and the cost was exorbitant in over $15,000. I walked out of there with my head spinning. I tried several times to talk to the office to get clarity on what exactly I had heard and it took several days for the office manager to call back and reiterate what the orthodontist said but still it was vague. Fast forward to today and I went for a different consultation at an ortho dentist in Albany. What a completely different experience. She took complementary photos, showed me a video, sat with me for over 40 minutes explaining in depth what I would be getting and the cost was $9000. I was heard, I understood everything and I was not overwhelmed. This is the orthodontist I will be choosing to get my work done at. I do not recommend Abar orthodontist.

My daughter got her braces off today with a prefect smile I'm so happy with the results thanks to Dr. Akbar. Everyone here is very friendly and my daughter was scared to get her mouth work on but they made her feel real comfortable.

I have been taking my twin girls to Dr. Abar for their braces for the last few months and today they took the braces off with 100% perfect results. Looking at the before and after images it is literally like night and day. I could not thank Dr. Abar and his staff enough for their brilliant, professional and tailor made services towards my daughters' orthodontics needs. Thank you very much indeed, my girls are so happy :-)

Abar orthodontics was amazing and an absolutely wonderful experience. He is the best orthodontist in town and the best I've ever seen. I would suggest this practice to anyone that need orthodontic work. The atmosphere was amazing as well. Great staff, who were very polite and kind.
