Dr. Adamson and his staff did an excellent job! They went above and beyond to help me. I went to a different facility before this that could not even identify the problem, but Dr. Adamson was able to diagnose me immediately and resolve it quickly. Thanks again!

had to have a broken wisdom tooth removed, Dr. Adamson and his assistant were excellent, it was quick, relatively pain and stress free. Going to the dentist for me is like the Spanish Inquisition, I've had numerous bad experiences over the years, I highly recommend Dr. Adamson, him and his staff are very caring and professional.

I have been remiss not providing a review of my experience with Dr. Adamson and his extraordinary team. Without creating a HIPAA issue for myself, I had been referred to Dr. Adamson by my primary dentist, from the moment I walked into the office I was treated with respect, compassion and care. Dr. Adamson and his nurse took the time to not only explain the procedure but what I should anticipate as next steps. The process was professional and took my concerns into consideration, the outcome was incredible and I couldn't be happier with Dr. Adamson and his team.

Due to a horrifying experience with a dentist when I was a child, I have terrible dental anxiety. I explained my fear before even making my appointment the first time which was approximately 4 years ago to have 1 tooth extracted. Due to my anxiety he did give me the nitrous oxide and I was amazed at how quick and painless it was. Fast forward to February 2022, I went to my regular dentist for a consult for full dentures. To my surprise, the oral surgeon she referred me to for my extractions was none other than Dr. Adamson. Because of the number of teeth to be extracted, I really was hoping for sedation but since I have a pacemaker and have had some minor heart issues recently, he explained his concerns with sedation and that he'd feel more comfortable not sedating me as he felt no sedation would be safer. He assured me we'd use the nitrous and once I was all numb it would be smooth sailing. However, nitrous or not, the injections are my biggest fear. So of course, last week when I went in for the extractions I was a nervous wreck and when I saw that needle in his hand I panicked. My heart rate jacked up, my blood pressure shot up, I was shaking uncontrollably and tears were pouring out of my eyes. At this point he let me know that I had to calm down or we'd have no other choice but to do this in hospital under sedation. Him and his assistant talked me thru everything, calmed me down, and pep talked me thru it. There were still some tears with a few of the injections but just as he promised, once I was all numbed, it was smooth sailing. They made this terrified 50 year old women who was having flashbacks of her horrible childhood experience, feel comfortable enough and helped me thru the process without making me feel like I was wasting their time because of my fear. Thank you Dr. Adamson and staff for your patience and understanding on this journey to getting my smile back.

I had two teeth extracted by Dr. Adamson today and could not have been more impressed by him or his staff. Between his surgical skills and chairside manner, he is nothing short of a dental craftsman. I literally felt no pain during the procedure, nor anything beyond very lowgrade soreness at any point afterward. His assistant Daylene (sp?) was so sweet. She made me feel completely at home and comfortable throughout the entire encounter which made my experience that much more pleasant. Yes, I said pleasant to describe oral surgery! You just can't go wrong with Dr. Aaron Adamson or Mountainside Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery!

I had four non-impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Adamson recently. He made me feel at ease during the consultation and answered all of my questions, as did his nurse. During the removal I chose to be awake, and Dr. Adamson repeatedly stopped when I seemed uncomfortable, used more numbing agent when I needed it, and communicated with me throughout the procedure. The removal was difficult because my roots were very curved, and at one point he even offered to stop the procedure in case it was too much for me. I opted to continue and am very glad I did. I definitely wasn't the best patient during the procedure but he handled the process with grace and respect, which I greatly appreciated, having in the past been brushed off by doctors. He prescribed me antibiotics immediately because of the proximity to nerves in my jaw, which made me feel very optimistic about my recovery and care. Follow-up care instructions were very thorough and clear, and when I had a question it was very easy to call in and have it answered without having to go back in. I moved out of state right after the removal and informed the team of this prior to the removal, and I have no doubt that had I encountered any issues while out of state he would have worked with me to resolve those issues. The office itself was very neat, clean, and uncrowded. The staff was unerringly professional and provided me with an accurate insurance quote at my request in a timely manner. Overall the experience was as pleasant as could be, and left me feeling that I had lucked out being referred to his office. His bedside manner cannot be understated. Far too often doctors brush off patients' concerns, railroad their stated discomfort, or ignore them altogether. I never felt that way while in his office and that fact alone made the whole endeavor much more pleasant.

Dr. Adamson made my son feel super comfortable. He answered all my sons questions, and was straightforward with him. Surgery went smooth as can be, and recovery was easy. We will be taking our second son to Dr. Adamson for his wisdom teeth surgery.

I am not a great patient. I have major anxiety issues when going a dentist. Dr Ademson and his assistant yesterday really went above and beyond for me to be able to finish my procedure and I am so grateful for them! They had an extordinary amount patience with me and were understanding of my situation. Dr. Adamson, hopefully I won't need to return but if I ever do it'll be to your office only! Well if you'll have me hahaha. Thanks a million!

Call a month or two ahead if you want an estimate on any procedure done. I called a week ahead for a wisdom tooth, gave them x-rays from a general dentist and Endo. They took my information on Monday the 24th, and scheduled me for Monday the 2nd at 9:30 a.m. They called to confirm my appointment on Wednesday, but said the X-rays provided didn't give a good look, but that they would still have an estimate on the day of my appointment. I called them at 8:15 a.m. on the day of my appointment. No estimate. Apparently the ID they had for my insurance was off by a number and it took me calling them an hour before my appointment for them to figure that out. So I gave them the correct number and asked for a high end estimate. I called them back twice in between 8:15 a.m. and 9:10 a.m., telling them I had a 45 minute drive to get to their office every time. I finally got an estimate at 9:15 a.m. for my 9:30 a.m. appointment. So I asked them how they wanted to handle my appointment time, and they placed me on hold to try to reschedule or find an opening. While on hold "The doctor took a look at your X-Ray and it will be" the most expensive estimate possible. Even though they had a whole week to look at the x-rays that they said couldn't tell anything prior. I initially made this appointment explaining that I was trying to get this tooth pulled before a vacation. I canceled upon hearing that they suddenly, over a 5 minute hold time, were going to charge me the most expensive procedure they could after playing dumb for an entire week. Unbelievable. Edit: I did call this office back after receiving a job offer from a new employer 10 minutes after getting off the phone from them, meaning my old employers insurance was going to run out, and they still refused to see me on that day, and refused to see me in one appointment because they "didn't feel comfortable after I canceled the first time around". They offered to see me in two appointments after saying it was my fault the practice couldn't provide me a quote until the last second causing me to miss my first appointment. And I refused and booked with someone in South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Oral Surgery, which did a splendid job. The doctor implied my review was ironic somehow in the reply. Irony would've been if I ACTUALLY went and got good treatment from him after I posted a bad review, which I didn't. He also said his schedule was full, which was a lie, because they were already moving me to an open spot on that day prior to my cxl. A doctor that lies AND doesn't know the definition of the word ironic. I'd call that ironic, but I'd be using the word incorrectly.

I just want to start out by saying that I am terrified of the dentist and I needed to get two teeth pulled, so that was scary, but the whole time I was there Dr. Adamson and his dental assistant, Marisa, made me feel super comfortable and calm. They kept making sure I was okay and kept telling me I was doing great throughout the whole thing. I've never had any other dentist do that and It really just made the experience so much easier and less scary for me. The office was also super clean and looked really nice and the rest of the staff was very friendly. I would 100% recommend this place to others.

I had the worst experience I've EVER HAD with this man and his nurse. I HAVE NEVER been treated so horribly by any doctor in my 31 years of life. Not sure which was was worse or more rude, him or his nurse.. I don't understand why people like this go into the medical field. Probably money,, and not because he actually cares and wants to help people. This man and his nurse literally lied to my face, and I called him out because I've had the procedure done before. Either he is uneducated or just shouldn't be in the medical business. I wouldn't let them both pull my teeth if they paid me. I have gotten advice to make a grievance procedure and to call medicaid. I'm not sure if I caught him on a bad day, but you don't lie to your patients. I'm on the fence about blasting my story online to 250k of my followers. He is lucky I am much kinder person than he or his nurse. people. Go anywhere else but here. I am a people person and extremely outgoing. It'd very hard to make me feel this way. I've probably written 2 bad reviews my entire life.
