Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry of Connecticut is led by Dr. Aaron Gross, recognized in the state as one of Connecticut 's Best Dentists and in the country as one of America 's Top Dentists. Known by most patients as simply 'Aaron', he is an approachable professional that you can feel comfortable and trust with your dental care.
Dr. Nicole Brasil Becker joined Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry of CT in July of 2018. As a dental practitioner, Dr. Becker strives to provide compassionate and thorough care, taking time to explain procedures and ensuring her patients are at ease. She delivers comprehensive care and comfortable dentistry to all patients and communicates fluently in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Dr. Becker is originally from the Boston area and knew she wanted to become a dentist at the age of five. At Tufts University, she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Community Health. She then received her dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She continued her education with a one-year General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital, where she completed extensive training in treatment planning, restorative dentistry, root canal treatment, crown and bridge, and extractions. Dedicated to volunteer work, she has provided dental care internationally during service trips to Ecuador and the Dominican Republic. As part of the practice, Dr. Becker utilizes cutting-edge technology to deliver same-day crowns and straighten teeth with clear aligners. She regularly completes continuing education courses to further develop her dental skills in order to always provide her patients with the best possible care.
Dr. Beckers contributions to dentistry have been recognized both locally and at the state level. During the COVID-19 global pandemic, the New Haven Dental Association recognized Dr. Beckers volunteer work with a Covid Special Dedication Award. In 2022, Dr. Becker received the Rising Star Dentist Award. Her professional associations include the New Haven Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Association of University Women. Dr. Becker currently sits on the Board of the New Haven Dental Association and serves as a Council Member for the Connecticut State Dental Association. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Becker enjoys working out, watching stand-up comedy, and playing with her mini Bernedoodle, Mellie.
Dr. Dominic Gambino joined Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry of CT in July 2021. He is a native of Wolcott, CT and is happy to return to the Hamden community. Dr. Gambino received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University. Like Dr. Gross and Dr. Becker, he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Similar to Dr. Gross, Dr. Gambino completed his general practice residency at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT.
His intensive postgraduate education furthered his training in the various disciplines of dentistry, including restorative and implant dentistry, crown and bridge, and root canal therapy. Dr. Gambino regularly participates in continuing education courses to stay current with the latest dental treatments and technologies. He is a member of both the American Dental Association and Connecticut State Dental Association.
When not in the office, Dr. Gambino enjoys his time on the golf course, playing board games, and traveling with family and friends. He enjoys playing the piano and taking yearly trips to northern Maine for white water rafting on the Penobscot River.

Dr.Gross exceeded my expectations! I've had over crowded teeth for over 30 years and was very hesitant on getting veneers. During our consultation, dr.gross made it so easy and explained the whole process and didn't even have to shave too much of my teeth, leaving it with integrity. The state of the art technology is exquisite. I was able to have a brand new smile in just a couple of hours. I am beyond happy with dr.gross and his team. I highly recommend his practice.

I have to edit my review. Folks, Simply this office is the BEST! They are very professional, informative and proactive dental group. Exraction of tooth was prompty, price was reasonable and staffes were all helpful. Highly recommend!

There's something wrong here........ I now actually enjoy going to the dentist! It starts with Nanette's friendly welcome at the desk, followed by thorough and professional cleaning experience by Laura or Stephanie, capped by Dr Gross's upbeat and always reassuring examination. My appointment at the dental office are always promptly and fast. My family loves going to the dentist. From the front desk receptionist to the Dental hygienist the professionalism is always on point. The moment you walk-in to the doors, you feel the connection with staff. From the welcoming and informative front desk women (especially the woman with the brown hair - I forgot her name), to the professional, quick and efficient dental hygienist to the polite and informative dentist! Dr Gross is extremely friendly and professional. His demeanor really put me at ease, in what would otherwise have been a very stressful situation. All of his staff from the ladies at the front desk, to the dental techs, were all very friendly and professional. State of the art equipment and extremely clean environment. Is especially important in this time of covid-19. They seem to take all the CDC precautions. I will highly recommend Dr Gross to others.
