Dr. Steven Aaron completed undergraduate work at Lafayette College in 1972 before moving on to study dentistry at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine. Upon earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in June 1976, Dr. Steven Aaron began a general practice residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Aaron then returned to Fairleigh Dickinson for post graduate training in Orthodontics one year later. Completing a two year residency in 1979 Dr. Aaron moved to Florida.
Dr. Steven Aaron began practicing dentistry in North Miami Beach, FL in 1982. He was the Assistant Professor of the Graduate Orthondic Department at Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry for 8 years. Dr. Aaron works hard to stay abreast of the latest advances in dental care and participates in regular continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Steven Aaron's dedication to improvement and growth in a variety of dental technologies, treatments, and procedures that our Miami area dental patients receive the most modern, efficient, and effective general and cosmetic dental care available.
Bryan Stapp, DMD is a Board Certified Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry who has been practicing Dentistry in South Florida for over 16 years. He was accepted into the University of Florida as a National Honor Society Scholar where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. While excelling in academics at the University of Florida, he was honored to be accepted into the PSO (Pre-professional Service Organization) where he was exposed to the various specialties of Dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry at Shands Hospital. During his time at UF, he was also a member of Alpha Zeta, an honorary, professional society in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. He completed his postgraduate education and earned his DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) degree at Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine graduating in the top 12% of his class. Dr. Stapp's primary focus is to ensure the highest quality patient care using decades of knowledge, experience, and skill while providing a compassionate and empathetic environment to address patients' desires, expectations and fears.
Dr. Stapp's pre and post doctoral affiliations have included ASDS (American Student Dental Association), ADA (American Dental Association), FDA (Florida Dental Association), SFDDA (South. Florida District Dental Association), and the Super Series Study Club, an approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Bryan Stapp is happily married with four children, two girls and two boys. He is an avid Florida Gator fan, enjoys watching and participating in various sports activities and working out at the gym. His personal interests include playing guitar, snowboarding, attending concerts, collecting baseball cards, religious and philosophical studies, and taking his family to Disney World.
Dr. Shoham Berkowitz was born in Israel and raised in South Florida. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Emory University, where she graduated with Highest Honors. Following graduation, she returned to Florida and obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University. She is Board Certifited in the state of Florida and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the South Broward Dental Society. She obtained additional training in Botox and Dermal fillers through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Elizabeth Nochimson is an honest caring dentist who treats her patients like family, and who provides quality dental care to her patients. Born and raised in Tamarac, FL, she attended Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where she received her bachelors degree in biology, and her doctorate in dental medicine. She graduated dental school in May 2011.
Dr. Nochimson has a wide range of experience including cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, endodontics, dental surgery, as well as pediatric dentistry. In addition, she is passionate about helping children and teenagers maintain a healthy and beautiful smile by establishing a positive attitude towards dentistry. In her free time she enjoys working out, swimming, going to the beach, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.
Born in Russia, Dr. Briskin graduated high school in St. Petersburg, Russia. After attending Broward Community College, and Florida International University Dr. Briskin went on to dental school at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and graduated Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2000. Dr. Briskin chose to attend a one-year General Practice Residency at a Veterans Administration Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. While in Gainesville, he successfully passed the Florida Dental License Examination in 2001. Dr. Briskin has worked in private practice since 2001, Florida has been home to his practice since April 2003.
Dr. Lara Bacchelli was born and raised in Miami and earned her degree in Biology, from Florida International University in Miami. She went on to become part of the inaugural class at LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL, where she received training in the latest techniques with state-of-the-art equipment.
She is enthusiastic and focused on providing excellent dental care for her patients. Dr. Bacchelli has a broad scope of expertise in many aspects of dentistry, but especially loves cosmetic dentistry and restoring one's healthy smile.
Fluent in English, Spanish and Italian, and also understanding Portuguese and French, allows her to cater to a diverse population and treat smiles of all languages! Her calm and friendly demeanor puts her patients at ease, so they can have a gratifying and enjoyable dental experience.
Belkis F. Diaz, has been practicing Dental Hygiene for over 25 years. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Miami Dade College. Belkis takes tremendous pride when a patient leaves with a bright and healthy smile. She has worked with Dr. Steven Aaron for more than 20 years. Her qualifications include local anesthesia administration, scaling and root planning (deep cleanings), prophylaxis (dental cleaning), sealants and oral health care instructions. After many years of practicing Dental Hygiene Belkis decided to expand her knowledge, and pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, and a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Belkis is a Licensed Acupuncture Physician, and a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine of the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She enjoys merging her passion of Dental Hygiene and Acupuncture by treating TMJ Pain, and Smoke Cessation. She also treats body pains, anxiety, weight loss, and facial rejuvenation. In addition to dental hygiene and acupuncture, Belkis other passions include her two children Alex and Cheyenne, her dog Cici, yoga, and walking in the park.
Maria Lopez is a registered dental hygienist who is also certified in administering local anesthesia. She was born and raised in Miami, FL where she attended Miami Dade College to obtain her Associates in Science degree. Later, completing an accelerated and accredited dental hygiene program at Sanford Brown University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She prides herself in her attention to detail and enthusiasm to maintain high and current standards in the profession of periodontics. Her patients appreciate her gentle touch and patience. She has worked for Dr. Steven D. Aaron DMD for over 10 years with prior experience in orthodontic and general dental assisting. Marias practice in our office allows her to spend valuable time with her young daughter Mila. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family and pet dog Rufus. Other interests include cooking, reading and swimming.
