Shortly after marrying my wife, Brooke, I graduated from Brigham Young University, and we moved to Denver, CO, so I could attend the University of Colorado Health Sciences Centers School of Dentistry. Our first child, Hunter, was born during this time. I graduated Cum Laude in 2005 and received the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award.
Our family has come to call the Grand Valley home, enjoying the great people and the great activities here. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, 4-wheeling, big game hunting, camping, sports, and anything that involves my family.

Wonderful experience with the entire office staff. The hygienist listened to my concerns, and repeatedly made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Birch was friendly and professional, and clearly cares about his patients. After my visit, I transferred my children to the office as well. Follow up months later: Took my 4 kids for their checkup (all in one trip!), same awesome service as before.

Dr Birch and his staff are the best! I've been going to his office since 2017 and I've always had good experiences. Everyone I've interacted with is kind, knowledgeable, and ready to help. Dr Birch has done fillings, crowns, and even a root canal for me and his work is great - no pain and clear expectations and instructions on care.

Always a pleasure to visit Dr. Birch and his staff. The front desk is warm, friendly, and efficient; I seldom wait more than 5 or 10 minutes to be brought back, and the hygienists are superb. Dr. Birch always takes the time to answer questions, detail treatment plans, and shoot the breeze about elk season. Quality, patient centered care is increasingly becoming the exception rather than the rule and I am very pleased that Dr. Birch and his staff understand the concept.
