Dr. Aaron Leishman graduated with high honors from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He attended Berea College in Kentucky, where he graduated with his B.A. degree in biology in 1997. Dr. Leishman is extremely committed to providing his patients with comprehensive dentistry. This desire has led him to continue his studies by attending the entire continuum of courses at The Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry and the Spear Institute, which are recognized as two of the top comprehensive dental centers in the world.
Dr. Leishman travels across the country throughout the year learning about the latest treatments in comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry. This also includes extensive training in the treatment of TMD (or dysfunction of the jaw joints). He has helped many patients who suffer from jaw pain and uncomfortable bites. Dr. Aaron Leishman is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Lee County Dental Society, and Estero Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Leishman is also a member of Omnicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society.
Admission is based on scholarship and character and is determined by annual election by active members. He also actively participates several study clubs, including the International Team for Implantology and The Perio-Prosthetic Implant Study Club, where the most recent products and techniques in dentistry are presented and discussed among colleagues. Dr. Leishman has been voted one of the top dentists of SW Florida by his colleagues every year since 2011.
Dr. Leishman grew up in Southeast Kentucky and enjoyed spending time in the mountains. He moved to Southwest Florida with his family in 1994 where he met his wife, Melica. He is an avid fisherman and enjoys cheering on the Florida Gators! He loves being involved in the community and regularly provides dental care for local charity organizations. Dr. Leishman served a two years mission for his church in northern Brazil and speaks fluent Portuguese.
These organizations support children and teenagers who have no families and no access to dental care. He and his wife have been married for 23 years and they have four children - three girls and one boy.

Very on point, never have to wait. Do not have to make appointments weeks in advance. Very nice office staff. Best dental equipment. Not priced off the charts.

Dr. Leishman and his staff are outstanding!! I needed some last minute bonding work on my teeth prior to leaving town for a work conference and they were able to get me in right away. I couldn't believe how great a job the Doctor did, the results were fantastic!! It looks like I have brand new teeth!! Extremely talented team! I will be recommending Dr Leishman and his team to everyone! There attention to detail and the patients comfort are Top Notch!! Many sincere thanks Again Dr Leishman and team!!

I'm a snowbird from Cleveland, I never had a dentist down here but I woke up this morning in major pain! I called around to get in somewhere ASAP. They only had a 30 minute appointment available so I took it. Turns out I had a fractured tooth... rather then sending me on my way and making me come back for another appointment Dr. Leishman and his staff stayed late to give me a temporary crown to ease the pain. They went above And beyond for a new patient. FIRST CLASS! Beautiful and clean facility

Going to the dentist is not one of my favorite things to do, however, everyone at Dr Leishman Office made me feel so comfortable and at ease. They were all so Accommodating in getting me an appointment right away, as well as discussing a treatment plan for me. I've found my new dentist & would highly recommend Dr Leishman.

Was so fortunate to find Dr Leishman's dental practice. I had a dental emergency and I was so fortunate to get a same day appointment. I am a very nervous dental patient and I was immediately put to ease the minute I walked in the door from the kind front office staff, to the dental assistant and the dentist. The office is extremely clean with a pleasant atmosphere. I found this practice online because of excellent reviews and close proximity to my home. So glad I found my new dentist.

Dr. Leishman is truly an artist. I'm in the process of having a series of fillings due to receding gums (oh, the indignities of age!). Not only has the process been completely painless, but the fillings are so smooth and well-matched that I can't even see them much less feel them with my tongue! Barbara Presnell

I had a wonderful experience. I had been sleeping poorly for years and was always tired. Little did I know what was happening at night. Dr. Leishman offered for me to do a sleep screening to see what was going on at night. I learned a lot once he reviewed the results of my sleep test. I at times would stop breathing and he explained that I had a thing called obstructive apnea. He made me a sleep appliance that I sleep in and I have now stopped snoring , stopped grinding my teeth and I sleep better. I now feel more refreshed the next day. My husband is also very happy because he gets better sleep as well. If you have experienced any of these symptoms I would highly suggest going to see Dr. Leishman. It can make a huge difference in your quality of life. I now realize the quality that sound sleep can make in a persons life.
