Never been a fan of the dentist. But they understood that and took everything carefully and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole thing.

To say that the doctor and team changed my life would be an understatement! I started with some basic restorations (old cavities repaired) and updated maintenance (thorough cleaning and gum care) and then finally a "remodel" of my smile. I haven't smiled with my teeth / mouth open in 20 years. I learned ways of hiding the gap between my front teeth and their inconsistent sizes and shapes. I'm a confident person, but this always held me back and made me self-conscious. Starting from the consultation, exploring my feelings about my smile, to proposing some options that balanced cost and impact, I felt taken care of and in the hands of a true professional who understands both the science of dentistry as well as the art. In just a few weeks I feel like I have a new smile and a new life. Every member of the team played a role in this process. The office manager handled all the insurance and financing. The doctor was the ultimate professional. The assistants and hygienists were comforting and encouraging and efficient. If you need a dentist, you would be smart to go to AAdvanced Dental.

Dr. Shimanovsky is great. She is a kind, caring and knowledgeable master of her craft. I had an old composite filling replaced today. The procedure was quick and painless.

I have experienced life altering symptoms from mercury toxicity due to my amalgams being disturbed with no safety measures in place a few years ago. I finally decided to get the rest of them SAFELY removed. It has been a big process and Dr. Shimanovsky and Kim have been SO amazing! The protocol to protect me from more exposure is one thing, but the care and concern that goes with it has been wonderful. I am so excited to say I have zero amalgam left in my mouth as of yesterday and look forward to entering my detox journey!

After about 14 years of dental work on 5-6 family members, it is like having your friends care for your family in all of the caring ways. As far as professionalism, they communicate well, provide an orderly clean shop, and are always helpful in navigating the business. I appreciate the willingness to work at healthy methods of dentistry.

Gentle, direct, no noisy kids, efficient. . I need a lot of work done, but they're willing to work as I can afford or take physically. (Those who advert an entire replacement in one day scare me. ) I will definitely go back. ...... I need to change my review. After getting half of the work needed done, I have a different experience. I will NEVER go back there. The dental assistant did nearly all the work for a porcelain bridge for a missing tooth, which is very ill fitting, and one of the bridge's teeth is HALF the size it should be. It's a molar; I need the full sized tooth. Also, the PA is haughty, spoke constantly of the current president (I'm tied to the chair, can't leave. At one point, I wanted to slap some sense into her, tbh. Then, they charged me more than the usual cost for bleaching my teeth, then the Specialist picked the wrong "white" for the new bridge. Now, when I laugh, this Super White Tooth stands out. (Making me not want to laugh...) And the prices... what we ended up paying was NOT what I'd been quoted, several thousand dollars off. They showed me how it was what they'd said, but it looked more like they'd cooked their books (I've been a bookkeeper, I know how these things should look. It didn't look right, at all.) And, as a result of the "work" they did, my bite pattern is permanently off. My teeth are getting new wear patterns. And chewing, biting, doesn't work well. In fact, because of the offput of the new work, my jaw slipped while eating, went out of joint, chipping over half of my teeth. I've found a new dentist. He'll make plenty fixing what the work at this business broke. Oh, and his prices are clear, and much less, affordable.

I came in as a new patient for a teeth cleaning and choose this place because it is advertised as a "holistic" dental office. While I'm getting my teeth cleaned, sitting 10 feet away from me in the same room, is another patient getting mercury amalgams removed from their mouth. The whole reason I choose this office was to avoid chemicals and toxins, not to be exposed to mercury vapors while I'm getting my teeth cleaned. The only good part of my experience here was that the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was gentle and kind. But she told me that I had one tooth that needed a deep cleaning, but she wouldn't do it that day because it would cost an additional $300. When I set up my appointment I asked for them to take the minimum number of x-rays and sent over the x-rays from my previous dentist. They charged my insurance $453 for a new patient visit, 6 x-rays, and teeth cleaning. My insurance paid $240, leaving me with a bill for $213. Which is more than the $200 new patient (without insurance) special they offer. So, I would have been better off not even using dental insurance to pay for my visit.

I went to AAdvanced Dental for the first time because I was looking for a holistic dentist. What a pleasant experience this was for me. Teeth are super clean now, they spent more than an hour doing this. Very detail oriented. The treatment plan for cosmetics and some crown replacements seems reasonable and I found my new home!

The only dentist I will ever go to. Dr Shimanovsky is the best!! The team at AAdvanced dental go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and your smile is beautiful! I cannot recommend them enough Thank you Dr Shimanovsky and Kim And Kim you guys rock ! And I feel great about my smile again !

Today was my first visit to AAdvanced Dental and I really liked it. Dr. Shimanovsky was so great. I came in very worried that I'd have a TON of work that needed to be done...AND yes, there is alot of work to be done...but Dr. Shimanovsky helped me created a plan that is simple and logical. I've been with Kaiser for the last couple of years and I feel like I have so many more options now and a doctor that is not limited to certain procedures.
