I go home everyday knowing I have listened to someone's needs, improved their smile and confidence and made a positive change in their life. I know they will remember me and the experience forever. I still remember my orthodontist and thank him every time I smile!
I am proud to be taking continuing education courses to offer my patients the most up to date techniques and technology. I feel it is important to offer cosmetic alternatives for patients concerned with wearing traditional metal braces. I have been an Invisalign certified provider since 2001. I have also completed classes in SmartClip self-ligating technology and placement and utilization of temporary anchorage devices (TAD's) or mini-implants. Both advances allow for faster treatment and fewer visits for our busy patients!
Every patient has unique concerns about their smile, dental health and appearance. I love the challenge of motivating the patients and getting them involved in treatment! I get to be a part of the positive change in the patients' self-confidence as we transform their timid grins to beautiful smiles. It's a wonderful process, and there's nothing like seeing the light in the patients' eyes as they first see their new smile!
Our practice isn't all about work all the time; we love to have a great time with our patients! We play rock and roll on the radio, and watch sports and game shows on our TVs. We even give prizes for good tooth brushing and seasonal specials! I love to share my funny braces and school experiences with our young patients!
We have the most talented, experienced and caring team in the area. Some of our employees have been here for over 25 years, and we now employ their children! Almost all of them have worn braces themselves. They are compassionate because they know how you feel.
My wife and I have lived in St. John for the past 19 years, and are happy to raise our three children in this community. The only other member of our family is a Siberian Husky, who loves to jog with me on cold days.
I attend church at St. John the Evangelist in St. John. I am a sports nut and have coached youth baseball and basketball and was the president of the Lake Central Hockey Club. In my spare time, I love to play hockey and fish.

I received Bachelor and Master degrees in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I then obtained my Certified Public Accounting License and worked as a tax accountant before pursuing dentistry. My interest in orthodontics arose through my personal experiences during treatment that forever inspired me to want to give back and do the same for others.

I was born and raised in Orland Park, Illinois. My husband, Jimmy, and I lived in Chicago for 5 years before deciding to move to the suburbs to raise a family. We currently live in Hinsdale, Illinois and look forward to the arrival of our baby girl in July 2020.

Our lab is here to keep record of your smile from beginning to end. We take photographs, X-rays and molds of your teeth along the way. We also make our appliances and retainers in-house so we can utilize all the newest techniques and provide you with the most up-to-date care. We love to see how excited our patients are when we can show them the progression of their treatment and how great their end result is.

ACC ortho in Munster is fantastic! They are patient kind, and work with you to ensure the best results! I had braces as a teen and now again as an adult and I can say that there is no other ortho I would trust with this process.

I absolutely loved them they were so nice and sweet towards me.... after I got my braces off everyone was saying how they love my smile and how they look great... it was a very loveable environment and I would 10/10 recommend this place

I've had nothing but the best experiences while visiting this office. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly. I got my braces put on in July of 2020, and it has been an incredible journey so far!! Very clean, safe, and the wait is never long. I definitely recommend this practice 1000%!!

I went to have a orthodontist consultation today!! I also work at a dental office so I knew the right questions to ask. The ladies in the clinic area were great However when I encountered the treatment coordinator that wasn't a great experience at all she actually questioned my place of employment as she said to me " I tried looking that office & the dentist up and I wasn't able to find any information " I said to her I am here as a patient for a consultation NOT a job interview!!!! WTH I gladly walked out with a $6730 treatment plan so I don't recommend this office

The doctors and the staff are excellent. They walked us through the whole process, and made it painless and effortless when getting started and each appointment. The staff is always nice, and very attentive to the patient & us parents. The prices where affordable giving they are braces LOL. The payment process was simple and easy. I highly recommend AAC to anyone looking to get braces for themselves or their kids.

I absolutely love this office and especially the staff . I had a great experience from starting evaluation eight years ago until my recent return visit for my broken retainer today. The service is always AMAZING and staff is like family that I look forward to seeing. Today my tech Kristle and Melissa provided me with out standing service. I look forward to my daughter starting her braces, so i can see my AAC family again. Thank you AAC for ALWAYS providing AMAZING service:-)

If you're interested in getting braces, this is the office to come to. Doctors and staff explain everything very thoroughly starting from the consultation to every visit after. Overall, I am always content with the service they provide.

I first visited AAC in Munster when I was 11 years old as my mom desperately wanted to get rid of the gap in between my two front teeth. Fast forward 20 years, I came back for some minor shifting (shame on me for not wearing my retainer). Although the location has changed, the team and culture is still just as incredible as I remember it years ago. Dr. Deek and team know what they're doing and they do it well! I'm glad I came back to AAC and would recommend them to anyone else in need!
