Dr. Andrew Joohyun Kim is a general dentist practicing in Stamford, CT. Dr Warren Kaplan is a 1977 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry who has practiced in Stamford since 1981. He has completed the post-doctoral residency program at Goldwater Memorial Hospital in New York City where he received special training in treating the medically compromised and handicapped dental patient. He is a Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute. Dr. Kaplan has been one of the leaders and experts of the laser dentistry in the United States for last 15 years. Additionally, he holds a Masters Degree in physiology from the University of Virginia.
Tina comes from a background of accounting, dental assisting and dental office management. With her experience in the field, she will help find a suitable treatment plan for each persons individual need. She wants each patient to feel comfortable and happy with their visit, as well as love their smile. When she isnt helping out in her familys restaurant, Tina enjoys going out with her sisters, playing sports, and reading.
As a dental assistant its my job to provide the best care for patients. I enjoy helping people getting their dental achieve success. One thing that i enjoy the most is being a parent of 2 wonderful boys. On my free time I love working out at the gym, reading books, listening to music and watching movies.
Haydees graduated magna cum laude from Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport in 2015, the first and prestigious school that established dental hygiene as a worldwide profession. Haydees entry into the dental field was sparked by her passion for helping others. I always knew I wanted a career where I am able to meet and interact with diverse groups of people and be in the healthcare field. As a dental hygienist, she utilizes her interests and strengths to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to oral health and wellness of every patient who sits in her chair.
Outside of the office, Haydees is a nature and animal lover at heart and enjoys spending time with her 4 birds (Lulu, Ziggy, Yoda, & Tank). She loves spending time at the beach and going to summer concerts with her boyfriend, Juan. If Dr. Andrew Kim decides a tooth extraction is necessary, you can undergo a relatively painless procedure to improve your oral health. We offer nitrous oxide to all patients, and you can be in and out of our office without any side effects of sedation. Our doctor will use either a simple or surgical technique to gently remove the tooth from the socket. We will provide detailed post-operative instructions to help the gums heal quickly after the procedure.
We can perform a tooth extraction on patients who are at least six years of age or older. Dr. Kim may very well be the most talented, professional, trustworthy, kindest full-service dentist around. I've never met a dentist more capable in so many areas (general dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, surgery, maxillofacial issues, etc.). His state-of-the art facility is well-equipped and always spotless. His staff is always happy and friendly (which says a lot about the way he runs his practice). Safety, good work, friendly customer service and honesty are really the pillars of his practice. While being accommodating of your wishes/requests as a patient, Dr. Kim will always give you an honest assessment; not try to push for unnecessary services. If a tooth can be saved, he will save it. If intensive work is needed or he foresees an issue, he will warn you ahead of time. If something is unnecessary, he will let you know too. Price-wise: Unlike many practices around that tell you they work with your insurance (only for you to discover $700 later that they're not actually "in network"), Dr. Kim and his Billing Department will never try to trick you when it comes to cost. 1) They will tell you clearly whether they're in network or not (they always are). 2) They will always get an estimate from your insurance company prior to any big work. I could go on and on (about friendly office schedule, easy appointment reminders, painless anesthesia, children-friendly treatments, etc.) but Dr. Kim's reputation precedes him, and he fully deserves it.

Dr. Kim and every one of his staff members are excellent and friendly!! I had a bad experience with another Stamford dentist so I was so relieved to have found AAA Dental. Dr. Kim seems to always have the latest technology and his office is SPOTLESS which is very important to me, especially at a dentist's office. I go every six months for a cleaning, and Lanette is so gentle on my very sensitive teeth that it almost feels like a tooth and gum massage :) I've also recently had extraction and implant surgery and it was also as great an experience as that can be. Dr. Kim is patient, takes his time explaining, does his best to save your teeth before making any drastic recommendations and will always make time for an appointment if there is any discomfort. It doesn't hurt that Dr. Kim is pretty funny and Nidia treats me like a good friend. I almost want to go more often just to say hello :D Thank you, thank you, thank you AAA Dental and team!

I was so glad to have found AAA Dental Care a few years ago, after not having seen a dentist in many years. I was so anxious about it, but everyone made me feel comfortable and put me at ease. Since then I've tried my best to go twice a year as it's so much more pleasant if you go on schedule. The office staff (Tina & Nidia) are very helpful and accommodating. My favorite hygienist (Maria) is wonderful, she is so gentle and kind, letting me know what to expect with each step. Luckily I've not needed Dr. Kim to do any work on my teeth, but when I see him before my cleaning he is always very friendly and gentle in reminding me to keep up with flossing. As much as I dread going to the dentist, I always feel calmer once I'm there due to the great staff. I would recommend AAA Dental Care to anyone looking for a great dental office!

Lanette is an amazing dental hygienist! She did a great job during my routine teeth cleaning - deep clean & totally painless! She was also so sweet and kind. Definitely would recommend Lanette and Dr. Kim to my friends and family!

Dr. Kim is an excellent dentist - I don't think my teeth ever been healthier. But what I really liked about it is had a hygienist looked thru my teeth after an x-ray and suggested to take out my wisdom teeth - best decision ever made since after taken out, it was very unhealthy and harboring bacteria. The whole staff is very good. The environment is clean, courteous and very professional.

The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. Every visit is like visiting friends. I couldn't be happier with my cleaning! I also did a night guard which it came out perfect and very comfortable to sleep with it ON.

By far the best dentist I've ever been to. I have pretty bad anxiety surrounding the dentist, and I couldn't have felt more at ease after my first visit. I was warmly greeted by Dulce upon my arrival, she is always kind and smiling. After just a minute or two, I was taken to the chair. The dental assistant, Adriana, was also very kind. She offered to put on a TV show, reassured me everything was fine. We had to do quite a few x-rays, she was quick and professional and considerate of my nerves. Dr. Kim, the dentist, is incredible. He is informative, honest, and pragmatic. He really knows his stuff too. My teeth are in pretty bad shape, and he helped devise a plan to tackle the issue...one step at a time. He also has a very calm demeanor, which also helped put me at ease. He will answer any and every question and always give you the proper amount of time and consideration when you have a concern. Since my first visit, I've had a two session deep cleaning with Lynette, the dental hygenist. She was awesome. She really helped explain why each aspect of the teeth cleaning was important, and was careful and considerate during the whole cleaning...even during the uncomfortable parts. She was also very friendly, just like doctor Kim, and I immediately felt safe in her hands. And then there is Nidia! She also helps coordinate at the front desk. Fixing my teeth is a daunting task, and it's going to be no easy feat. At first it seemed overwhelming, but Nidia sat me down for a consultation. She helped break it all down into steps, helped me understand how everything would work with my insurance, and helped me put it all into a perspective that was more manageable. She has an amazing attitude and really helped me feel like I can get my teeth fixed. Something I've never thought was possible before! Overall AAA Dental is an incredible office. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new or different dentist. Especially if you have specific concerns or anxieties or any sort of negative feeling surrounding the dental experience. They'll put you at ease!
