Dr. Brar graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) in 1996. She enjoys and specializes in cosmetic dentistry, pediatric, family dentistry and is also a certified Invisalign provider. Her passion for dentistry is the thriving force of her life and her patients will always be her main priority. That is the promise and commitment she makes to each of her patients.
Dr. Brar loves Orange County and enjoys all that it has to offer. She has three kids and likes to spend time with her family. She also enjoys good food, traveling, watching movies, and performing community service. Dr. Brar's personable nature helps her patients through their dental work. She has been providing dental care for over 15 years with the highest standards and uncompromising safety, dedicated to excellence.
She strongly believes in providing stress-free environment & pain-free dentistry. Every opportunity to relieve a patient of their physical and/ or emotional pain gives her the strength to work harder for their benefit. Dr. Rikim Marfatia was raised in Irvine, California. He received his Bachelors of Science from UCLA in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics in 1995. He attended dental school at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and graduated in 2000.
He has been practicing dentistry in Orange County and the surrounding areas for over 15 years. Over the years he has taken numerous continuing education courses in both general and cosmetic dentistry. He takes great pride in not only providing the highest quality of dental care but also in treating each patient as though they were a part of his own family. He is Invisalign certified.
Dr. Levi was raised in Orange County, California. He received his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of California Irvine. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Levi gave back to the community by being a police officer. Afterward, he moved to New York to attend New York University for his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. While in dental school, Dr. Levi became extremely interested in Endodontics.
After his doctorate degree, he attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan, New York where he got a degree in General Practice Dentistry. He pursued his interest in endodontics which lead him to New York University College of Dentistry Endodontics program to earn his post-graduate certificate in Endodontics. Dr. Levi is an active member of the American Associate of Endodontics and is presently Board Eligible in the field of Endodontics.

Two reviews here are written by Brar's children. So lacking in integrity. People do your homework and pay attention to your gut. Big time rip off joint that the Dentists check to see what coverage is BEFORE they see you, and amazingly the work you need will use up your benefit. I was told I needed a Crown and a filing and another Dentist said I had no issues. So mad at AA.

Just finished with my dental appointment, I can feel how clean my teeth are, and it was a pleasant experience, my gums did not hurt after the cleaning.

Dr.Hassan referred me to Dr.Brar, it was the greatest experience ever. She was so nice and helpful. I have always had tooth pain from my last filling from previous dentists. After surgery was done I was able to eat normally for the first time in a very long time in my life. I am so thankful for this and I will highly recommended her to anyone. I've been a patient for many years and it always feels comforting to see the same dentist and front office administrators each time. They truly want you to be comfortable and are always on time. My whole family agrees that this is the best dental office.

Advice: If you have insurance, ask your insurance provider to provide you with an "evidence of coverage and disclosure statement" so that you know what you should be paying. If you don't have insurance and need multiple crowns, shop around. I was about to save $300 per crown by calling around. The low review was primarily based on the practice's shady billing and lack of transparency for out-of-pocket costs. Dr. Marfatia is a good dentist, and I have nothing but positive things to say about him. However, the billing people or the practice's owner is negligently misinforming and not correctly informing patients about costs. For full details, please see my yelp review.

The entire staff from all the Dentist, Oral Surgeons, Nurse's and Administrative Team, is outstanding. They are professional, courteous and caring. As a patient, there is no better place for me to entrust my oral care too.

AA Family dental are WONDERFUL! The staff, hygienists, and Dr. Marfatia are fantastic. I recently had quite a couple of procedures done- a crown put on, filling, and cleaning. Everyone is so nice , professional, kind, and trustworthy. AA Family Dental is easily the best dentist office I've ever visited and they always put me at ease when I come in. If you have fear of dental procedures or dislike going to the dentist, I highly recommend you go here because they are so great at what they do and make you feel very comfortable. Not to mention, they are fast with their work but very thorough. I highly recommend them!

I'm glad I found a dental office that is friendly and good at what they do. They have a lovely office and it's warm and inviting. I've had multiple appointments with Dr Brar and Dr Marfatia. They are very approachable, friendly and competent in their craft. Their support staff is also great and always easy to talk to. Wouldn't go anywhere else to be honest.

I have been coming to this dental practice for decades. I am very satisfied Dr. Brar (general dentist) & Dr. Salehani (oral surgeon). I trust their expertise. It's a very professional environment, and super convenient to schedule appts for regular check ups and all specialty appts. Highly recommend to all my friends and family!

Could've give negative stars if possible. Worst experience ever, I won't blame them them keeps promoting deep cleaning several times and ask me to pay the $586 difference after insurance coverage, but what's cross the line is they even refuse to do regular teeth cleaning today when I say no to deep cleaning! My insurance company told me deep cleaning is covered every year, which I've never done before, but this office want to charge me $586 out of pocket!!! Be aware and stay away!

This office staff is less than cooperative, they discriminate against HMO patients. In an effort to receive more $ for a dental procedure - they fee split and charge the patient out of pocket for small things like sealing the prep'd filling - 9911 which is not covered by HMO's. It's creative billing and when asked about these charges - they are quick to say ... find another Dental Office. As a Dental Practice- if you are not comfortable with HMO fee's - don't accept the HMO Plans. Don't treat your HMO patients like 2nd class citizens! Filed a Formal Grievance against this Dental Office with our HMO. 2nd Post - Lets respond to the office comments: When directly confronting this office staff with ABERRANT BILLING - there was no attempt to resolve or discuss. The OVER BILLING of HMO patients is the issue here.... anyone seeking an honest dental office - look else where!
