Dr. Yi grew up in Alsip, IL and graduated from Alan B. Shepard High School in 1988. He completed his undergraduate study at Loyola University, Chicago in 1992. He then enrolled at one of the nation's top dental school, the Northwestern University Dental School, and received his DDS degree in 1996. He has been in practice ever since and continually takes up hours of CE courses to constantly keep himself abreast of all the developments in dentistry.
Dr. Yi 's primarily focuses on dental cosmetics and implants, and also enjoys working on all aspects of general dentistry. Using various techniques, such as veneers and dental implants, he has brought back confidence in many patients with a beautiful new smile. He is really passionate about dentistry and if someone asks him why chose dentistry, his answer is 'I have always wanted to be a dentist since I was a 4-year old.' He has also been on medical missions to Guatemala to provide dental services to both children and adults. He is also shows the same level of compassion toward all his patients who visits ATOCD. He is a keen listener and eagerly listens to what you have to say so he can give you the best treatment plan that suits your budget.

The assistant to the dentist has the worst mannerism. Comments on facial jewlery and political views. She is also very very harsh on the teeth, have left with bloody gums every time. The dentist himself is wonderful though

I've always received first-class service at A Touch of Class! The staff is very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I've been to other dentists (due to insurance changes) and my teeth were never as clean and healthy as when I come here. Dr. Yi always asks follow-up questions about my persistent issues and easily answers my own questions due to his years of expertise. I look forward to every visit!

When I first walk n the receptionist was very pleasant! I know she knows what going on But I'm sure she wants to keep her job! The assistant had gloves on already working in patients mouths without putting on fresh ones! After my appointment which I couldn't keep because I needed too take meds b4 dental procedure .. I over heard Yi telling his assistant to tell me that if I need a prescription too go call my primary doctor when what the hell u r there for! I thought that was very rule of him! My very first visit was not pleasant by he r the assistant! I'm not sure if it's the insurance r if it was me... after that appointment with Yi which was my last one!!! He and his assistant need to b investigate

The Dr is one of the best dentist I've ever had He fitted me with a lower set of teeth and he was so professional and helpful He does implants as well I would give 10 stars if possible

I would recommend the service there i was extremely satisfied I had major work done and that been almost ten years ago and I havn' t had any issues 6 upper front tooth replaced

Dr. Yi does not even look you in the eye & I left not understanding how he even wanted me to follow up. I know for a fact he did not look at my X-Rays because I KNOW something that would'be shown up on my x ray and he didn't even see it!!! I had to tell him. I scheduled another appt bc half of one of my fillings cracked off, then I cx it bc I did not trust him. Now.... my other little filling fell out! "A Touch of Class" MY A**!!! The receptionist and the dental assistant were WONDERFUL.

I was very nervous after seeing past reviews and was ready to cancel my appointment after reading it because I'm already a bit fearful of dentist. Dr. Yi Jack was very professional and sensitive to the needs of myself and my children. My children enjoyed their visit and his recommendations were very much needed. Thank you!

This place is nice. Dr Yi is pleasant as is his staff. He explained my particular circumstance thoroughly hence I was torn as to what procedure I wanted to go with. He even answered questions the day before my appt. I would highly recommend Touch of Class. I got an extraction and he was very gentle. I have found a new dentist. Keep the good works up. Thanks.
