After graduating from the top-rankedUniversity of Michigan Dental School, I served as a dentist in the Air Force, followed by a number of years in private practice. During my advanced training residency at David Grant Medical Center, I completed curriculum training with all dental specialties. Now with over 2300 hours of advanced training across all recognized dental specialties, I offer a diverse variety of collaborative treatment options.
Initially, I became a dentist because I love people, and what a great profession it has been for me! Constant curiosity leads me to always look for a better way to do thingsmy research has been presented at national and international meetings and has been life changing for many patients. As if it was a bonus, I love working with my hands, science and artdentistry is a perfect fit. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to practice in Snoqualmie and share in this community.
I have worked in the dental field for four years now, having managed both large and small offices. I joined A To Zzz Dental when I was looking for a provider who values patient care above everything elseand Dr. Malouf does not disappoint! I graduated from Brigham Young University, and ever since then I have enjoyed helping patients understand their insurance and how best to utilize their benefits. Having seen various approaches to dentistry, I truly appreciate being a part of a team that serves the community by emphasizing personalized and thorough care.
I recently moved to Washington from Utah with my husband. I am passionate about health and fitness, and I love all things outdoors hiking, camping, backpacking, and mountain biking to name a few. Some of my favorite places to experience the outdoors are Zion, Moab, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, and Arches. While I miss the red rock and dessert landscapes of Utah, I LOVE the greenery and rain that Washington is known for! I look forward to exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer in this chapter of my life.
As a dental Hygienist of 15 years, I am confident in providing the utmost care and education for each and every patient that I see. My greatest passion in dental hygiene is having the opportunity to educate my patients about the importance of oral health care. This education has a lasting benefit to the overall well-being of each patient we serve.
I began my dental career out of high school as a dental assistant which led me to where I am today as a dental hygienist. I graduated with honors in 2003 from Shoreline Community College Dental Hygiene Program. After joining the office of Dr. Malouf and staff, I continue to make patient care a priority. I am very excited in caring for all our patients traditionally as well a holistically. Dr. Malouf goes above and beyond in his standard of care with all of his patients.
I was born and raised in the Snoqualmie Valley where I currently reside with my husband of 32 years. I enjoy the outdoorshiking, walking, gardening and spending time with my family as we get together every weekend to study the bible.

It has been so difficult finding a dentist and I was so nervous to go today but from the moment I walked in to when I left I felt so comforted and cared for. I already made my next appointment and will refer my husband, kids and family to Better Way Dental. Thank you to everyone in the office, I'm excited to finally have my smile back.

I truly can't say enough good things about Dr. Zhu and his staff! The best dental care I have ever experienced! The staff make you feel like family! Dr. Zhu has very gentle hands and meets you where you currently are with your dental care and kindly encourage new suggestions! Dr. Zhu is non-judgmental and doesn't make you feel bad about your teeth! He's so positive, professional, kind, and honest! Dr. Zhu suggested wisdom teeth extractions and before I left the office all my information was already sent as a referral to the office I chose. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone! The Snoqualmie community is so lucky to have a dentist that cares so much for his patients and their teeth!

If you are looking for a new dentist in the greater Seattle area, I highly recommend Dr. Zhu and the team at Better Way Dental. Dr. Zhu's patience, knowledge, and attention to detail put me at ease each time I sit in the dental chair. He takes the time to explain treatment plans, educates me about dental health, and provides options along the way. Additionally, the staff is so friendly and makes scheduling/working with insurance a breeze!

Dr Zhu and his staff are amazing. I have been through 4 dentists in 10 years. I have dental anxiety. Dr Zhu is patient, understanding and kind. He understands my anxiety and my constant questioning (drove my mom crazy). I have found my dentist for life. Thank goodness he is younger me. Schedule an appointment with Dr. Zhu. I'm one of those folks that, well, after sitting in the dentist's chair for what seems like hours, I get up and my legs feel like mush and I've been sweating. "Yes" I have serious anxiety going to the dentist. But this was the first and only time I felt comfortable at any dentist's office. Dr. Zhu used no tricks; didnt numb me up with anything; didnt give me laughing gas (is that a real thing?). He was just very comfortable, listened to me, sensed my obvious fear, and took care of my teeth. Our 3 sons see him as well; 23 year old (on the Autism Spectrum), 20 year old, and 11 year old. And each son needed additional work (i.e., cavities!). It's so convenient to live just up the hill from Dr. Zhu's office. But I hit the jackpot because he is simply that good. Again, best dentist visit I've had in my life....and I'm 53!

Refreshed office, easy to schedule, Dr Zhu is super personable & calm. He let me know which restorations needed to happen now and which ones he would keep an eye on. I recommend him if you need a new local dentist!

I highly recommend Dr. Zhu! He is everything a dentist should be...caring, gentle, knowledgable, and not pushy about unnecessary treatments, only what you truly need to have healthy teeth and gums. My two teenage children liked him too, which can be tricky. And the office staff there is great!

Today was my first visit to Better Way Dental. I have a lot of anxiety at the dentist and I was apprehensive about my 1st visit. Everyone was very kind and conscientious and made an effort to take good care of me and my needs. I had nitrous during the cleaning and was offered a stress ball to hold. It was a very positive experience.
