Born and raised in Bismarck, Dr. Larry Steininger is thrilled to return to his hometown to practice pediatric dentistry in the community he grew up in! Following dental school at the University of Minnesota and practicing in the public health sector, Dr. Larry discovered his passion for caring for children and individuals with special health care needs. Influenced by his pediatric patients no less, Dr. Larry furthered his training by completing a two-year residency program in pediatric dentistry at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Larry is a member of theAmerican Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. His passion for working with children to educate and build relationships with the families he cares for, inspired him to open A to Z Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Larry understands that every child is unique, and so are their dental needs, he is focused on creating a fun and educational dental experience, leading to a lifetime of healthy smiles! In his free time, Dr. Larry enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the dog park, and cheering for the Minnesota Twins and Vikings! He cant wait to meet you and your family at their next A to Z visit!

The receptionist was not very friendly when we had tried to take my 2 yr old little girl there. No smile or friendly greeting just a stone straight face. We just left, however the dental assistant was very nice

What an amazing experience for my two little ones this place made them want to come back. They made it fun for the kids not scary one bit! I wish I had an experience like this as a kid with the dentist!

The Best all Around he dose not turn anyone away based on age and disability or the fact that your child or adult child with disability is on Medicaid or Medicare. I will always recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great team of people to work with.

Excellent dental care in a child friendly setting. These professionals know what they are doing. I am a mom of 3 and have had plenty of medical appointments with a variety of local providers and I would recommend Dr. Larry + his team at A to Z Pediatric Dentistry to anyone with children. They take the time to make sure your child is comfortable before each step of the check-up. Dr. Larry is amazing! All of my kids look forward to the next time they go. My son had a couple teeth pulled and he isn't traumatized at all and still looks forward to going for his next cleaning. The rest of the staff is great too all are very good with kids.

A to Z got us an appointment in at the last minute and they were so accomodating. Karsi is our family's favorite hygenist! She remembered little things about our girls. And Dr Larry is funny and puts you at ease. My daughters love him!

I was really, really, nervous taking my 7 year old to the dentist because he needed a lot of cavities fixed. The appointment was quick for 2 cavities. The dentist and staff work really well with children, my son did way better then I thought was going to happen! I feel at ease going back for the next appointment. Setting up the appointment and getting in was fairly quick. I recommend anyone with children going here. They have things for kids to play with in the waiting room, and little toys for the kids after their appointment. Clean and professional atmosphere. Will be taking all my kids here from now on.

Dr. Larry was superb with both of our girls. During the cleanings, he was funny and kept the girls in good spirits. He also needed to extract one of our 10-year-olds' baby teeth, and she was really nervous. Dr. Larry was incredibly compassionate and my wife was able to be in a chair right next to her the whole time. After the procedure was done and our daughter was still a little shaken up, he was really empathetic. He walked with her afterwards and validated her feelings ("I know, it's a really scary thing" and "having a tooth extracted is very emotional") and praised her bravery ("you did a really good job" and "I'm really proud of you; and you should be proud of yourself"). She left feeling much better than she would have with a lesser dentist. We highly recommend Dr. Larry.

This dentist was AMAZING with my son who had a traumatic experience with a different dentist! He pulled two teeth and my son is acting like nothing even happened. I am truly impressed and would highly recommend ABC pediatric Dentistry!
